This company has renewed my faith in people, They came when they said they would ,treated my home and me with respect , finished the job in a timely manner, I had to call them back in a few days and they were at my house within 2 hours , Problem taken care of within 5 minutes. Great customer service and employees .

Their team was initially responsive to my request for assistance but fell shortly thereafter. After approving the quote I waited over 24 hours to receive a call back to schedule a time for the repair. This was noted as an urgent repair since we had a hole in our roof and it was supposed to rain for 2 days...we already had damage from the unknown leak inside of our attic and home and noticed a 2nd leak had appeared since their initial visit. All the while asking them to let me know if they were too busy to do the work...I had other contractors lined up to complete the work, but wanted to give them the opportunity to do so. It took them several days and calls to finally get someone out to our home. They completed the initial repair but then decided to repair other items on the roof not discussed or approved by myself or my husband. They proceeded to charge us for the repairs despite us not approving the work. When this was brought to their attention they initially agreed to discount the cost until I insisted that I was not going to pay more than what I approved. I certainly am a reasonable person and would have had the work completed if needed and had it been discussed with us in advance, but it was not. I would suggest that they work on ensuring that their technicians in the field are communicating with the staff in the office and with their customers. No one ever likes surprise bills and I never want to feel like I am creating a company out of their money, but I am certainly not paying for something I was not aware of nor did I approve of. The manager was kind enough to call back to follow up, but it does not change the events that transpired. I would be willing to give them another chance but would ensure that there is clearer communication with them going forward.

Owner Matt Bankston came out and inspected leaking skylight and sealed on the spot. Didn't try to oversell work required to fix root cause of the leak. Very good price.

Matt B. came out for an inspection and estimate and ended up doing my roof repairs on the spot. He was very professional and knowledgeable. He contacted me 30min before arrival, and arrived during the allotted timeframe specified. I was highly impressed with this company and Matt especially and would definitely do business with them again.

The response to my request was prompt and professional but the follow up was not. I advised the representative that I scheduled the appointment with that my home was a two-story. I also included this information in my initial request on Home Advisor. I was told the technician would be at my home between 12 and 2p,m. I received a call at 1 pm from the technician who indicated he was on his way but when he had not shown up at 3 pm, I attempted to reach him but got no answer. I then called the company and was told he probably would not be coming out because he needed a two-story ladder that another contractor had taken out. Needless to say, I am quite upset because I made it clear that my home was two stories and I have sat here for most of the day waiting for a technician and no one had the courtesy to at least call me and let me know no one would be coming out.

Whole staff very good, no problems

Price quoted was reasonable compared to other contractors (John Moore being the worst overly priced contractor) and they did their job on time.

Preferred Air & Roofing of Houston can also do plumbing and electrical work. The owner, customer service exec., personnel answering the phone, installers -- are all incredibly professional in their attitude, work ethic, and skills. I wish I had found this company 2 years ago when I first moved into my house! The headaches and money Preferred Air & Roofing could have saved me!

They were very professional and efficient in their work. The work was done within days of the quote. I would definitely recommend them!
