Reviews
Write a ReviewI’ve spoken to both of the owners, who truly care about your pool and happiness. Took me 3 new companies to finally find the Pros!
We used this company to refinish our pool in April/May 2021. Prior to the pool being refinished by Pro Guard Pool Management our pool had no leak issues. After the pool was refinished we had a very clear leak, given the substantial water loss. I asked Steven about this, seeing it was not present before and he sent his people out to try and rectify it, to no avail. I was very adamant that the leak was in the light fixture in the deep end and he assured me the light was properly sealed, after having been removed by Pro Guard to complete the refinishing. Steven billed me for this yet knew the leak was still present but claimed it was not in the scope of the work. So I was left to try and get a leak detection company to come and diagnose it. Apparently, every pool in Atlanta had a leak this summer, so getting on the calendar took months. So for the months of May-September, we incurred monthly water bills of $200 per month + chemicals in an amount I have not even calculated to attempt to enjoy our newly refinished pool. Finally, in September we were able to have the leak diagnosed and, fixed. This took all of 10 minutes because guess what? The leak was in the light fixture removed by this company and not properly resealed upon re-install. I emailed Steven a copy of the meager $350 bill for the leak detection and fix and he has refused to pay it. Claiming it was a part of the light fixture. The light did not have a crack in it before his company removed it and re-installed it. So instead of being an honest businessman, Steven has rejected any responsibility for a light that was perfectly fine before being removed and not cared for during the re-plastering and will not pay the measly $350. The monthly water bill from May to September has cost me an extra $750 but I have not asked him for that. Do yourself a favor and go with an honest company that will not try and weasel out of a meager $350 for the damage they caused after having paid them over $6,000.00.
This company is outstanding. From Steven the owner, to Jeff his project manager who is very knowledgable of everything pools, a new liner was put into my pool, as well as a light, and my equipment restored to the appropriate working condition. I would hire them again in a heartbeat and hope they will be maintaining my pool for years to come. My next project is the pool deck and I can't wait to get their ideas on that.
They provided good advise on updating the pool to salt water and their opening of the pool was excellent. Responsive and easy to work with.
great job. done in a timely fashion at a reasonable price
Quality work at a reasonable cost. Happy we chose this company.
Steven take a very hands on approach and as the owner of the company he is never too busy to get his hands dirty!
Steven has been working on our pool since 2001! We were one of his very first customers and I would recommend him to anyone in a heartbeat. He is very professional and he always thinks of his customers first. He has made himself available 7 days a week if we've had issues and if there were times that one of his guys couldn't make it out he will personally take care of it himself.
