We hired Professional Design Wood Floor to install and refinish the existing floor in our new home. The job was done quickly and inexpensive we were impressed with how fast the process was but it would end there. After walking on the floors we noticed the floor was very susceptible to scratches even with pads on our furniture the floor was leaving very visible scratches. I contacted the owner Juraci he agreed to take a look I pointed out other areas of the floor I was unhappy with as well. Most nocibly the new flooring had waves in it he assured me it was because he couldnt match the grain to the existing floor, and I took his word for it. He told us the only way to fix the scratch problem was to buff and coat the floor this time using a water based poly (more durable he said) this would come at a price of $200. Unhappy with his solution I decided to have a second opinion. It was in the opinion of the contractor that Professional Design Wood Floor did not allow the wood to acclimate to the humidity to the house before installing. Causing the stain to improperly dry and not create a complete bond with the wood making it susceptible to scratches and more noticeably waves and white lines in the floor. I was also brought to our attention that the incorrect oak was used. He brought in red oak and our floors were white oak. I told juraci I was very unsatisfied (their website guarantees customer satisfaction) and I wanted a refund he replied he would not do it again for free or issue me a refund. I trusted his knowledge and he did not deliver

They did a Beautiful job and very professional and clean! They fixed an area that other contractors could not do. They took the time to fix it and make it great! They were courteous and nice! Got the job done in a timely manner. Other competitors took to long in time and this company was awesome and great! I would highly recommend them to anyone! Thank you again Juraci !!
