I hired this company with the promise of a 20 year warranty, water sealing my foundation, a french drain on one side of my house that lead to the street through the curb, and the gutters tied into that drain. His quote was within my price range of what I was expecting to pay. Flash forward a week after it was promised to be done, they show up and dig out half the yard. The top layer of grass wasn't wasn't preserved. They didn't dig deep enough. They didn't mark my sprinkler system nor did they call before they dug. They came back 2 days later and finished digging the trench. The trench wasn't even, and was not very deep. The idea was to drain the water from my back yards, but the trench was 8 inches below my slab in the back, and on the side at it's high point it only only 4 inches below my slab. Water flows from the highest point to the lowest, so my back yard stayed flooded. 2 days later they came back and installed the pipe. This should be about 12 inches deep, with 2 inches of stone, below and above the pipe. What I received was a few rocks mixed in with the mud placed directly on the pipe. This sealed all the holes and caused the pipe to be clogged with mud. Thus flooding my french drain, and causing flooding in my house... again. During the burying of the drain, they cut my internet cable to the house that was buried. I had to pay $460 to have Frontier come out and re-run the line and rebury it. I deducted $400 from the price when I gave him the last check. Because it had not been billed yet, I advised that I would send pay him the balance between the repairs, and what was left on what the cost of the installation was. In his defense he was in the ill during that time frame, and I understand that. But he could have called and let me know that he was going to be late on the install. I had to call him the day after the appointment was scheduled. He missed 2 commitments. A simple call to say that he was ill and that he would be delayed would have been fine. I was expecting about 2 weeks out, he said that same week. According to our cameras, they digging crew were only out the house 2 hours the first day, and an hour the 2nd day. The third day was the verification and final payment. Things weren't right, but I wasn't going to dig it up and show them, as I had other commitments to attend to. Final assessment: The drains weren't leveled, they were not encased in rock as they should be. The drain did not run to the street (he said that were it was going to go and he would take care of all permits), and the grass on my lawn was never replaced.

The project was awarded on Feb. 27, 2018 and was not completed until Apr. 27. The delays were caused by bad weather and the owner's medical problems. There were times when I thought the owner had disappeared as he would not respond to calls or text messages, then all of a sudden some workers would show up. It was necessary to adjust the scope as the work moved forward. This caused communication problems with the workers as the owner was absent most of the time. If I had not been on site for most of the work I'm sure it would not have been an acceptable job. I feel that the circumstances caused by the owner's medical issues were unavoidable. Therefore I cannot fault the owner. I think once the gutters are installed on the house and tied into the drainage system, my problem should be solved. This will prove whether the system will work or not. I will write another review when the system can be tested with gutters installed.

I had to give Michel 1 star review originally because of the lack of communication (excusable) on his end. we were left to think he abandoned us just like our previous contractor when Micheal barely responded to our calls, texts, and emails. But as soon as he was released from the hospital he came to visit us and also completed the job we hired him for. Also His team went above and beyond by fixing our fence/gate (nothing major) and fully inspected the first job they did. If you happen to see any negative reviews on him between the month of December - march, its because he was trying to take care of his health. Just like me I am sure he will get with them and fix their problems and they will change their reviews as well. Either ways I would highly recommend him.

I hired them on Dec.3,'17. Gave Michael Reed $2000 down. He came back on the 5th and started digging for the project. I then gave him $2800 to order materials. He left that day and I haven't seen him since. When he does answer the phone all I get is excuses. I am lost and don't know what to do.

Mike came to my house on time for the initial visit. We inspected my property thoroughly for solutions for flooding issues after an extremely wet Spring season. Three rooms in the back of my house have had water damage over the years. My property is lower than the property on one side of me. Also, the flow of the alley curves and was dumping water into the back of my house. I wanted solutions to solve the problem once and for all. He gave me a reasonable price and sent his crew out in a timely manner. The head of his crew was new to his company and did not interpret the plan as to one item of the original instructions. Mike sent his guy back out but we were still unable to resolve one of the issues. Mike was going to come back to inspect the job; however, he broke his ribs and I had cancer. So far there has been no flooding. Mike has guaranteed his work for ten years. I feel certain he will back up his work. We both just had unfortunate circumstances. The crew did an excellent job of clean up.

He cut a hole in back of siding for a door for easy access and told us he had a really nice stainless one ordered, which was fine with us. The door never showed up and now we have an awful hole nailed up in the back of the house. His wife sent a text to get our email so she could get the invoice mailed to us. We had already paid his son everything except for the door on the back and I told her so. We never got the door and never heard from them again! We would gladly pay for the door and put it on ourselves but Michael Reed will not return our call and never came back to check the work or anything just sent his son. That is ok but would have liked to give him the money and had a last inspection on the house!! We are just supposed to take the son's word for it, not acceptable to us especially for 4,650.00!
