How We Got Started

I chose to work in this industry because I started to work with natural stone tile installations at first. For floor and wall applications. Then I really fall in love with natural stone products, since it is so unique and every piece to piece it is different, elegant and shiny nice looking art piece created by Earth. .

Horrible! Cheap and horrible customer service. The counter top we got was cut wrong so looked so bad on the cabinets. When we got new backspalsh the guy cancelled on us at the last minute 3 times and had no shows for 2 more times. Took 4 days to complete project when they eventually showed!! then without asking or calling us to confirm card they automatically charged us.

The granite selection was good and the pricing was good. However, they require 80% down with the order which is ridiculous - no one does that high an amount prior the fabrication. The following were the problems with our project: 1. They only had 1 installation crew. If you don't get an early appointment, you are at the mercy of any other scheduling problems of RID. Had to reschedule numerous times. The same goes for any follow-up of installation mistakes. 2. Numerous fabrication mistakes. They had to do modifications during the installation and don't use quality tools or experienced personnel. Therefore, settled for flaws in workmanship. 3. Installation crew damaged drywall in numerous areas where they removed old backsplash. I had to do drywall repairs and repaint. 4. The measurement and details established prior to fabrication were not followed. They did not make the corner radius correct as determined on contract. They did not check the walls for squareness and therefore I had to purchase caulk/fillers to accommodate for gaps along walls of up to 1/4" on 1 side and around a 90 degree corner the front doesn't match up to another countertop by 1/2". After much arguing with the owner, we compromised on a reduction of the final payment.

Project: Install Stone Slab Countertops
Daniel ,Brian,Chelsea were wonderful very customer oriented great at what they do and they all are very good people period from beginning to end l love them I highly recommend them and I will use them again Amen Hallelujah

Great work!! I was able to get a remnant of a past project for a discounted price, install was very quick, and Dan gave me a great deal! Although I did have to do all the plumbing myself, including faucet and drain installation, it was still fine. Came in under our budget.

Rid Stone was an absolute DREAM to work with. First and foremost, communication with Chelsea was effortless; she worked with our hectic schedules, communicating via phone, E-mail, text, etc. Chelsea, having worked for a larger granite fabricator previously, is insanely knowledgeable about all countertop materials. When we were frustrated, trying to find a large enough stone, she directed us to a store with many, many large slabs. We used 2 different fabricators on our project and Rid Stone was BY FAR the most efficient in terms of time and cost. Bravo to them - our kitchen is beautiful!!
