RJA replaced an old central air unit in my home when it failed in June of 2019. Rocco was quick to respond to my first inquiry and to come out and take a look during a heat wave. He emailed a clear and detailed estimate within 24 hours and his pricing was very competitive. He offered to do the installation on a Sunday just 4 days after giving the estimate, beating the next quickest offer by more than a week, which was huge during a time with daytime high temps in the 90s. Rocco and his team were punctual, professional and pleasant. He was on site for the job, which was done well and on time. They cleaned up thoroughly leaving no mess behind. I very happily recommend RJA and would certainly call them again the next time I have a need for an HVAC professional.

Rocco and his team were incredible. We hired them to replace the 30 year-old duct work that was in our house and they did a great job. They were neat, thorough and completed the project as scheduled. Installing central AC was life changing this summer and our electric bills stayed nearly level to last summer-using a few wall units. It was a pleasant surprise given how much better central air feels. It had a lot to do with Rocco's suggestion to install a two zone system that used only used one AC unit (we have a relatively small home). Rocco really knows his stuff. We originally had a system for original part of the house, a system for the back TV room, and a separate wall unit for an upstairs loft. After calling almost a dozen HVAC companies and getting a different suggestion on how we should redo our system I felt Rocco offered the best solution for long term home ownership. He gave us more attic space as well and helped to balance the system so that it is used as efficiently as possible.

We bought our first house in Bloomfield and needed to install a new central air system including all the ductwork. We obtained price quotes for the project from several companies. RJA Heating & Cooling were somewhere in the middle of the price range, but we decided to hire them and never regretted the choice. Here are the top three reasons why: 1. Rocco said he would install the A/C vents and ductwork in places where everyone else said it would be impossible. Needless to say, Rocco has delivered 100% on his promise. 2. The quality of work was outstanding. Even the town building inspector was very impressed and praised the installation work. All of the construction permits were closed without any issues. 3. The installation team did all the work with great attention even to the smallest details. Everything looked very clean and neat, i.e. there were no loose wires sticking out and all of the supply lines were hidden underneath professionally installed covers. For these reasons I would strongly recommend to contact RJA Heating & Cooling for your A/C installation needs. We will certainly call them back to install a new split in the addition.

Rocco is a pragmatic and very honest installer. He was the only one that did not try to recommend un necessary additional tasks and he turned out to be right. He was on time and even proposed an upgrade of furnaces to keep on the timing ( an out of stock situation on the furnaces we initially chose) at a very reasonable price uptick. all the 3 furnaces work great, it was a real pleasure to deal with him.
