Everything was great from start to finish - I was able to see a 3d rendering of the proposal that confirmed we were in agreement on the design, the owner (TJ) was very professional and answered all my questions thoroughly, and the crew (headed by Elias) did fantastic work each day, rain or shine. They were also able to reuse the framing of my old deck, but they made sure to bring it up to code for maximum safety. Now I have a beautiful deck whose quality is superb, thank you RTI!

We enlisted RTIs help to both save and finish building our elevated deck. A bit of history, we began the deck with a different contractor, but it immediately became clear they weren't qualified to do the work (not up to code, amateur craftsmanship, unprofessional). After researching for quite some time we decided on RTI. TJ came to our home, saw the improperly built deck frame, and came up with a plan to rescue it, including bringing in special equipment to shore up the frame, cut perfect squares in our concrete pad to remove the old footings and pour correct footings. (They even matched the texture and score lines in the patio cement pad.) TJ answered every question I had obviously with wisdom and experience. He was in no rush, he was going to be there as long as I still had questions (and I had many!). He even got into permit measurements and construction methods, forwarded the city's official build codes to me, and created a 3D model of exactly what we could expect if we enlisted their services. And so we did! In terms of the construction experience, RTI is a class act, both in terms of craftsmanship and professionalism. I'm an extremely detail oriented individual, a 3D designer by trade, and their work exceeded my expectations. Each cut, every screw, bracket, post and beam, was absolute perfection. The crew themselves were exceedingly professional and hard working. On time, courteous, in good spirits, hard workers. If you're looking for a deck builder, RTI is unequivocally your best option. Whenever I read an on-line review, I often wonder whether the reviewerâ s standards or expectations are as high as mine and whether I can trust their assessment. To help anyone reading this, Iâ m a CEO of a service company in the healthcare industryâ we serve physicians & doctors who expect near-perfection from our services. I am even more of a perfectionist and expect great service, tight follow-up, and strong attention to detail from any vendor, whether at my residence or business. We hired RTI Services to replace three wood decks at our residence with the TimberTech product. While we thought their proposal was a bit on the higher side, we decided to take a chance based on their very-thorough & detailed walk-through during their initial visit and also based upon a solid referral from a trusted homebuilder. My wife & I were totally pleased with their delivery & performance. In fact, RTI exceeded our expectations. Their crew is skilled, hard-working, professional. Their job foremen are experienced and know what they are doing! RTI came in on budget and on time. And most important to us, they cared about every detail of the jobâ for example, they strengthened & fixed several parts of the under-structure before installing new decking, and in areas where the ground gets wet from our bordering lawn sprinklers, they put base layers of water-proof material UNDER the wood framing to ensure that no wood (even treated lumber) is sitting on moist ground! For our little dog who is too small to navigate the three steps to the grass, they even made aesthetically-lovely little ramps for her, ha ha! They also remedied the original-installed deck design to ensure that no nuisance animals (i.e., raccoons) can gain access under the decks. Our project turned out beautiful! RTI did a wonderful jobâ a great value! The bottom line is thisâ would we hire them again should the need arise? Absolutely yes.

am beyond thrilled with this company. RTI recently did a full demolition of the rotting 40+ year old deck that came with my house and built a gorgeous new two-tiered custom composite deck in its place. RTIâ s estimate was prompt, accurate, and limited to what I asked them to do, rather than what they hoped they could convince me to pay for. I was more interested in cost than aesthetics, and left the design decisions to RTI so long as they incorporated my â must havesâ and met my price; RTI listened to everything I asked for, kept the project within my budget, and the end result is very beautiful and truly compliments the house. RTI was able to commence work earlier than predicted and complete it within two and a half weeks, which is what they estimated. RTI also gets credit for being the only one of several companies from which I obtained bids not to ask me (a female homeowner) any version of the dreaded â can I speak to the decisionmaker of the house?â question. Iâ d recommend RTI in a heartbeat.

TJ and the installation team headed by Ian were amazing to work with. While installing two decks at my townhouse, they were always mindful of my condo neighbors, which was appreciated by all. Final results are amazing. Thank you RTI!!

We just had a ground level deck built by TJ and his guys and we love it! TJ is super knowledgeable and professional and he gave us a few different ideas we hadnâ t considered during the consultation phase. They were able to start and finish the deck ahead of schedule and the crew (Ryan, Elias, and others) answered questions we had throughout the building process. TJ and his crew are wonderful to work with. They had to tear down most of my existing foundation and rebuild. I had a new Timbertech composite deck installed with two railings and a bench. The staff are all skilled and knowlegeable. I couldn't be happier with the results! I highly recommend this company.

From TJ Jensenâ s concept drawings and proposal to final cleanup, installation of my deck was professional and efficient. Each day RTIâ s well-trained crew arrived on time and ready to work. TJ and crew did a great job replacing our old cedar deck. They did a complete tear down and build up. They always stayed in communication. When there were some supplier issues, they searched for alternative suppliers to keep the project on track. Crew was very friendly and professional and always let us know what the next steps were in the construction process. Overall, we now have a beautiful new deck that should last a very long time and will be easier to maintain than the old cedar deck.
