The fireplace expert did a thorough examination of our fireplace and flue, and provided a detailed estimate for performing repairs necessary to bring the system up to a safe operating level. The estimated cost of $4,500. is unfortunately not an amount that we can afford to spend at this time.

I felt pressured by Robert to get the repairs done right away. I should have waited for a second opinion. I had another licensed and certified company come out after still (already scheduled) and he would have done the exact same work and product for way less. $650 versus $389. Additionally they told me that my fireplace wasn't lined when in fact it is. He told me that i would need to have $8-10k worth of work. Jiminy Chiminy confirmed that the fireplace is lined, 22ft of liner. I asked for a partial refund. They wouldn't. He was a nice guy but made me look and feel dumb. Maybe because i was a woman. I would not recommend them.

We explained to the homeowner that we gave a fair price, which was agreed upon, prior to starting the job. While we were on top of the roof, looking down the chimney flue pipe, we clearly saw a missing section of the home owner's liner. We find it highly irregular for a competitor to say they could have done a job cheaper when they could not see the original condition of chimney, which was covered by our corrections/repairs. I would definitely question the integrity of this competitor and wonder if he even went on top of the roof at all. Although we did not offer a refund for the job, we have offered to go back and do a video camera scan of the flue pipe to show homeowner the missing liner section. We ask this homeowner to contact us offline with any additional comments or requests. Thank you.

Robert was prompt, friendly and polite. He cleaned my furnace flue & dryer vent and was done in an hour. I will definitely use this company again.
