I was initially very impressed with them. I shared my fears of over promise and under deliver. They made strong promises to do the job on time, etc. and seemed very credible. The job became late. I had been promised in writing that the project would be finished by a certain date. This was important, as I live out of state and did not want to pay for a flight and have the project not done. When I arrived, I was informed that "they would never had given me the time frame I was reminding them of. I was essentially called a liar. After showing them the email proof, I received a reluctant apology. During the week I was in town, what should have been me enjoying a completed job, much time was spent assisting them with the project. I was sold a $1,000 toilet that would never flush correctly. After flying out of town, a leak was discovered in the new toilet. I hired another plumber and they discovered that the toilet had never been attached properly to the floor. The tile work on the floor of the shower had to be redone, after visual inspection revealed poor workmanship. Small holes in the wall tile were present around several pieces of the new shower hardware. Had I not mentioned these items, this contractor considered the quality of the work to be acceptable. Most recently, it was discovered that the lights that had been installed were not working. Not being comfortable calling Seville back, I hired another electrician to inspect. They discovered a junction box left open in the attic and poor wiring workmanship. In summary, I would not recommend this contractor. The primary reason is that some of the subcontractors that they hire do not do quality work. On top of that, a customer should never be made to feel that they are making something up and then have to provide written proof.
Response by Seville Communities, LLC: We have a strong record that represents happy satisfied customers. Our company was voted Home Advisor Contractor of the year. Unfortunately we can not make everyone happy or satisfy unrealistic expectations. This job as done during St Patrick's Day downtown in a property that we later learned was a rental not owner occupied. This caused delays but at no time did we asked the customer to come in town to a unfinished product. We fully advised him of the delays etc. The so called not working toilet has been a welcome addition to my home and works perfectly. We were never contacted to perform any warranty on this job. Instead the customer Hired people from the yellow pages without giving us the opportunity to provide a warranty. Then the customer sent us the invoices and expected us to pay them. Of course that was denied and here we are with this review. This is a situation involving a customer who has no idea how the warranty worked or didn't care, even though it was explained throughly to him. Had we been given the opportunity to warrant any issues we would have been there immediately, like we do with all of our customers. Unfortunately we were never given the opportunity and this review is the result.

When work on decks they repaired was not correct (sloped back toward house and water pooled, inches deep) I contacted them for remedy. They would not return my repeated calls. DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY.

Bill and Troy communicate very well with their customers and were open to any questions we had. Their subcontractors were not as considerate as Bill and Troy, however. Nonetheless, they have done a tremendous job for us and we are pleased.

Very high prices for work done. Have work spelled out in detail before using them. Sub contractor Jamie Lee Winters agreed to rebuild my shed and took my $2200 and did not do but about $500 worth of work. They never finished Seville's work either and they were notified about that and did not return either. Will be taking both to small claims court!
Response by Seville Communities, LLC: Unfortunately this customer hired one of our workers to do some additional work for her directly. He did not finish the work promptly and charged here in advance. The work that Seville Communities completed was done promptly and was priced correctly and agreed to by the customer in writing before any work was started.
