BUYER BEWARE!!! We paid for project materials up front and Petes General Contracting went MIA, not responding to voicemail and text messages for over 4 months. He finally showed up and finished the work 4.5 months later, but tried to write a fraudulent check against our bank account which the bank caught. Beware - hes a smooth talker but cannot be trusted!!!

I hired them originally to replace the gutter in the front of our house and to look at our roof. I appreciated their honesty on the state of our roof. I ended up not replacing the gutter at first. I had them come back out to replace the old gutter with a 6 seamless gutter and a new downspout. They did a great job. We also agreed to do the back of the house with the same and to put in some gutter screens that they asked me to buy, which I did. They told me they would be back within a couple of days. After numerous texts and a phone call, I have not heard from them so I am left believing they are not coming to do the remaining work. The work they did was great. They just do not respond in a timely manner. So, my recommendation is to hire them but make sure you get everything done that day. If you plan on having follow-up work, you may not get a return call/text. And, I do not think it is unreasonable to expect a response back within a day or so. Updated 8/20/2022...I posted a review about them already but need to let people know that I discovered an issue. The issue is that they did not complete work that they said they did.

It could not have been better. He was prompt, personable, explained exactly what he was going to do and why and gave me an estimate on a new roof which he said I would probably need in 3-5 years. His price was fair and he gave me the cost of a new roof which I will let him do when the time comes! One of the other contractors who contacted me pushed me to get a new roof without even seeing mine. He said insurance would cover all but the deductible and he had done this numerable times. It almost smacked of insurance fraud and when I called my insurer, they told me, as I suspected, it was not that simple!

Pete was more than great, he was very professional and did the roof the next day. I was happy because I needed it finished fast in time for my settlement. I would recommend hiring pete he is reliable, fast and very professional. He always updated me on everything. Thanks again!
