Awesome experience and so easy

I hired Nick to inspect a home during the buying process. I was traveling and could not be present during the inspection. His initial report was less than adequate. There were numerous problems and concerns that I had just based on my walkthrough. This included: broken windows, non-working electrical outlets, and switches, leaking/rotting drain pipe in the basement, exposed electrical wire, mice feces. None of these appeared on his original report. After I voiced my displeasure, he claimed to return to the residence and performed a second inspection. He did provide an updated report, essentially outlining the things that I had already told him he missed. Now, every time that I have a contractor come to my home, they point out something as a problem, ask if I had a home inspection done and if my inspector pointed out the problem, to which this answer 4 out of 5 times has been no. Nick essentially took my money, took some pictures, and (only after I complained) wrote up a report that any non-professional could have put together. While everyone is entitled to a bad day at work, Nick performed a lazy inspection, and when confronted did only the minimum to reconcile the situation. Prior to hiring Nick, I contacted two inspectors, and Nick was the one who answered my call and/or got back to me right away. Given my very short inspection window, I decided to hire him. Answering the phone can be a huge asset nowadays, but perhaps the other inspectors were unavailable because they working for their clients.

We had Nick Cruz complete our home inspection. We were really happy with the inspection and his input. We are first time home buyers so the whole process was very new and a little intimidating on what to expect. Nick made the process very easy to understand and kept the experience positive. His report included pictures which made it easier to remember. Nick was more than willing to answer the phone (which he did) either by text or phone call for anything we questioned or were confused about on the report. All we can say is thank you so much Nick!!!
