This is a two part answer. The folks at the company were great. They were very helpful in arranging a time to do the work. From that aspect I would definitely consider hiring them again. In my mind the process left a little to be desired. I don't know if I misunderstood what we were getting but it is not what I expected. I was told by several contractors to have the tubs refinished because they were cast iron. The tubs would outlast any new tubs and the reglazing process would be less expensive in the long run. I thought the tubs were being reglazed but it appears more as if they were just being repainted. From across the room the tub looks great with a nice shiny bright white color. When at the tub the finish inside the tub is dull and there are a lot of bumps like pimples in the finish. Some seem rather hard and sharp and tear up the sponge, cloth, or scratch your hand when cleaning the tub. If the bump breaks free it leaves a small dark pock mark in the surface. There was a paint run that had to be repaired. Although it looks better without the run spot the repair area does not have the same glossy bright finish as the rest of the tub. As mentioned I would consider hiring the company to do other type of work I am not sure I would attempt this type of refinish on a tub again.
