Eric came to the house to connect the Aprilaire M700 humidifier to the Nest thermostat and disconnect the Aprilaire from the controls that came with it. He knew what he was doing. You could tell by his manner that he is a pro.

My Trane furnace was 20 years old and had a hole in its heat circulater (name of worn out part, as I remember it?). Due to my furnace's age, repairing this part would not guarantee an uneventful winter of reliable heat in my home and repair would be expensive. Furthermore, my a/c was 22 years old and was a freon user. Come summer, it was probable it too would need replacement. Replacement or repair would be more expensive then because the furnace would have to be pulled to access through a/c. Thus, the wise decision was replace both now and save $2,000. That all made sense to me, so, we replaced. I had spent 3 nights in a freezing house and wanted a working furnace. I didn't want to have a similar experience with an a/c come summer. They were at my house all day correcting what had become code violations along the way to preparing my home for winter and summer. It is cozy at my house now Can't wait to bring on summer too.

The only reason I don't rate them higher is because they didn't clean up after themselves.

Justin, the technician arrived on time. He was very friendly and professional. He said one thing that really hit home with me and that was, "Let's see if we can find out why your unit is not blowing cold." Without going into all the details of what steps he took, he found the problem and corrected the issue. It was air flow restriction. In addition to correcting that issue, he made a couple of suggestions to add a "starter kit" to my compressor (it did not have one) and replace the indoor blower capacitor. I took both of his suggestions and he had the work done in a couple of hours. I really appreciated his honesty. Stark has a customer for life now. I will recommend them to all my friends.

Repairman very efficient and repaired the faucet in brief period of time. Very courteous.

The guys that showed up took care of the immediate issue. We found a secondary issue with the piping since the pipe is old. They did explain the issue, the only issue I had was a tech was supposed to be here between noon and two but I didn't get a call until a quarter til 3pm, other than that everything was great.

The salesman that showed up was absolutely professional, wonderful, nice, caring, I couldn't say enough about him. Very considerate, and you can tell that he actually cares and wasn't just trying to sell me anything. Very informative and he went through the entire process before they started anything. It was very very good.

great job, good work, only thing I would complain about is price. I think they should quote over the phone. If it wasn't something I needed then and there I would have went somewhere else.

Extremely responsive when I submitted the request through Homeadvisor.com. Benjamin offered to send someone earlier than the site indicated, which was nice. The plumber was able to come earlier than expected the very next day. The plumber was also very courteous. He estimated he would be about an hour to replace an exterior faucet. 20 minutes after arrival, I had the bill in hand for $230. And that was with a discount. Make your own conclusions about the value for the work. But yes, if you don't care about the expense, then I would recommend this company. I do realize all plumbing issues are expensive, but this was excessive.

Technician David was very knowledgeable. He answered all my questions. We talked about the configuration of my sink and he found a faucet that was perfect for my situation.

I had a leak at my city water box but on the owner side. Joe quickly analyzed the situation and was able to do the work right then thus saving me time and money. He worked right through and fixed the problem. He was very competent and professional. I would highly recommend both Stark Plumbing and Joe.

We will be hiring them to perform an overall plumbing inspection before we list our home.

They are picey but will take care of your headache. They have flat rates where just changing a screw based on the job. Professional firm.

I had a very big leak in my shower. I called my regular plumber and received an estimate to fix the leak and update the bathroom. A friend told me to get another estimate because it sounded high. I looked at Home Advisor for the first time because I am an Angie's List person. Stark Services came out and gave me an estimate for the same work. I was impressed by their plumber. He seemed to know plumbing inside and out. He came to complete the work and of course things didn't go smoothly. He had a nightmare situation because our drain didn't match up with the new bathtub. Jim worked for hours making sure that he fixed it properly. I expected to have an extra labor charge added to my bill because he didn't expect to spend the hours he had to trying to get it correct. I didn't pay a cent more and the plumbing in the bathroom is perfect. I cannot recommend Jim at Stark enough. He went the extra mile to make sure everything is done correctly.
