We found ourselves in somewhat of a stressful situation when sections of our roof flew off in a windstorm. Mark came recommended by a family member, so we decided to give him a call. He provided a detailed estimate and sat down with us to review it and answer any questions. When the day of the installation came, I was amazed at how fast and efficient the team was. Mark called frequently during the installation to make sure we were comfortable and to give us a progress report. The final product exceeded our expectations and they left it so clean, it is like they were never there. Wonderful experience from beginning to end and we will reach out to Mark again!

Mark and his team of workers we're very helpful in making suggestions that improved the looks of our bathroom with ideas we had not even thought of. In addition, we were very pleased with their workmanship. They where very friendly and careful to keep everything as cleaned up as possible. We we're very satisfied with all the remodeling that they did and plan on having them do many more home projects for us.

They handled the entire insurance process with us. We got a new roof for just the cost of our deductible!!! Starter Home Improvements kept in close contact with us through the whole process. Mark is an honest down to earth contractor who is easy to work with. The Crew was on time, hard working, CLEAN and thorough. Our yard was spotless when they were done. What I was most impressed with was when watching the roofing crew work (even when they didnt know I was watching or taking pictures for my husband who was at work) was the quality and care they put into there workmanship. I was referred to Starter Home Improvements by my neighbor. I worked with Mark who was extremely responsive, very professional, and worked with my schedule to make replacing my roof an easy, stress-free process. The workers came and in one day replaced my roof. They worked from 7:30 AM to almost 6:00 PM. Mark helped me figure out financing and answered all my questions. I didn't feel pressured or like he was trying to upsell me on stuff I didn't need. He told me very clearly what to expect and the work was done on-time and within the budget Mark quoted me. Across the board, the responsiveness and professionalism of Mark and the workers made this process a true pleasure to work with and not to mention I already told Mark to put me on the calendar for a siding and window upgrade in the spring of 2022. This company is the very best in the roofing business. They were professional, competent and very concerned with protecting my home inside and out. The crew worked non-stop to get the work done as quickly as possible while achieving perfection. The clean up work they did was wonderful. They even took magnets to make sure there were no nails or other metal in the yard. The day after completion of the new roof and skylights, their inspector came out to ensure the work was done as it should be. This is a company I highly recommend. Starter Home Improvements did a fantastic job on my roof! I was very impressed by how efficiently they worked, how clean everything was after the job had been completed and how reasonable the price was. They arrived early, surrounded my house with tarps, took great care not to drop the old shingles and roofing debris on my landscaping, and thoroughly went over my yard with a magnetic nail sweeper to ensure nothing had escaped the tarps. The shingles were laid with great care and precision and are noticeably of a high quality. My roof truly looks outstanding compared to those of my neighbors. I even went up to inspect and could find no flaws whatsoever. I definitely recommend this company, in fact, I did. My neighbor also had them replace his roof and the results were the same!

This is actually the second time I have used Starter Home Improvements. They first did a job for me back in 2020 on a rental property of mine that was in really bad shape. Now my personal home is in need of a new roof due to some damages. Because of my previous positive experience I contacted Starter Home Improvements to get an estimate (along with a few other companies). My decision was very simple and Starter Home Improvements got the job. As expected the communication was exceptional and the job went like clockwork. I received an email reminder several days prior to the work starting, confirming the date, and also providing me with a checklist of things to do to prepare for the work. They also communicated about the early arrival of the dumpster and materials and made sure that it was convenient and the driveway was clear for that to be delivered prior to the start of the job. On the day the work was to start the dumpster and materials were delivered at precisely 7:00am. The crews showed up just after 7:30am, and went to work. I can honestly say that the crews worked their butts off! There was no goofing off, it was an incredibly organized process, and... interestingly enough... the crews seemed to actually be enjoying it. The job took two days (not as many people involved on day 2) and they finished around 3pm on day 2. They were exceptionally careful of the landscaping and did everything they could to protect my plants and shrubs. The clean-up was outstanding. There was virtually no debris left behind, and so far, after 3 days (and in spite of me actually *looking* for them) I have found exactly NO nails. That is unheard of! Overall I give these guys an enthusiastic 5 stars and can recommend them with complete confidence.

Mark and his team did a fantastic job with the new roof on my house and we couldn't be happier workmanship was excellent, they worked extremely hard and couldn't believe how clean they kept my property. Truly a 5 star experience and look forward to working with them again in the future!!!

We contracted with Mark at Starter Home Improvements to replace our 30 year old cedar plank siding and wood trim with HardiePlank and HardieTrim, and to replace our aging wood windows with vinyl energy efficient ones. Mark guided us professionally through the entire process, from choosing materials to doing a walk-through when the work was done. Mark and his installers were inspiring to watch, for both their diligence and craftsmanship. They worked a full, no nonsense day every day, and their team spirit was remarkable. They had worked together in harmony for years, and it showed! All in all, our association with Starter Home Improvements was "5 Stars" in every way. The house looks amazing, the workmanship is flawless, and we can look back on the project with no regrets. Highly recommended!
