This is my second submission. It should be published to be fair to users who rely on Home Advisor to provide a fair representation of a contractor. We had intended to use Statewide for a number of jobs and received an estimate for completion of 3 jobs. Foyer tile, small bath reno, and wall repair and window install. They do not have qualified help! at least the revolving guys that came on our job were not qualified! New tile in the foyer took over 4 weeks and multiple revision to get correct. Juan needed to purchase new pallet of tile to start over, after bringing in another tile person who said the original tile job was too bad to fix. All while Juan advised it was the tile we purchased not the installer. The second tile person Statewide brought in was able to complete the job without too many uneven tiles, still not perfect - we supplied spacers/levelers so the job had a better chance of being right. Spacers at our expense! It took over 4 weeks to get the foyer tile correct with my washer / dryer sitting outside - so unacceptable! the bathroom reno was terrible most of what they did needed to get re-done. sheet rock tape was terrible / tile crooked / molding cut wrong, too much to list - They needed to do many revisions and still not done right all while kept asking for more money. He left the job because we refused to pay $750 remaining of an incomplete job. It has cost thousands of dollars and much time and aggravation to fix the work of Statewide. STAY away from them! also he does plumbing work and is not a licensed plumber - beware! Several other contractors have viewed the job Statewide did on our bathroom and it was difficult to get anyone to fix all the problems!
Response by Statewide Home Improvements & Maintenance, LLC: Thank you for your review...yes it did take us longer to do your tiles .for we had left and the next day tiles were on even not set and moved so yes we redid the tiles not once not twice but three times house finishing the floor for the third time your family member walk down the stairs onto the foyer which me and my guys scene which is to believe this has been happening throughout the duration of the job people walking on wet tiles after we leave and I know this for a fact because of most of the tires I lay down myself and they fine the day before until we got back the next day for everything else there was additional work that was done that was not paid for.. you kept on telling me later on that day Friday Saturday Monday and prolonging everything all we needed was to secure the work order change and the project would have moved on is always good to put down two sides of a review.thank you

I have used Statewide on multiple occasions and they have always been reliable, fast and reasonable. I had an entire new half bath and new laundry room installed in my house. Juan and his crew did an excellent job with not only the plumbing for it all but the structural and electrical aspects of the build. All permits and inspections were handled well and in a timely manner. I later hired Juan to re-route a drainage line from a secondary drain to a primary drain which he did very quickly. His prices are fair and he makes sure that the job is completed properly. I would definitely hire Statewide again if I needed any additional plumbing work done.

They were quick, efficient and clean. The job entailed addressing a leak in my master bathroom the bottom half of the shower tiles, floor pan and drain ended up needing to be repaired. Juan made sure I fully understood the issues and the options before proceeding. The job was done very professionally and looks great. I highly recommend Statewide. Great value.

Juan was very thorough throughout my entire project. I had originally called him to check out a leak my downstairs neighbor was complaining about, which turned out to not be entirely my fault, and it was uncovered thanks to Juan.. My neighbor was trying to force me to pay $1500 for damages which were also coming from other parts of the building.. That being said, Juan came and took the time to inspect all of our bathrooms and was able to determine that this leak could have come from anywhere, saving me a ton of money.. (Turns out my neighbor just needed cash and needed someone to blame.. ) Nonetheless, after this incident, I trusted Statewide to come over and take a look at my 29 year old heat pump, which was installed way before I moved in and was even born.. I called Juan, we set up a date and completion time for the installation of a new one and I am truly satisfied. He calls every now and then to make sure everything is okay and even provided a year of warranty. I also was provided the warranty paperwork from the manufacturer in case it was needed.. He is always available, unlike other plumbers I tried to reach out to previously, which gives me the peace of mind and feeling that everything was done with integrity. Juan and Statewide will be my plumbers for as long as I own my apartment and I definitely recommend him.

Hired to remodel 4 bathrooms. Almost everything had to be done more than once since they didn't do it right the first time. Don't bother with any modern stuff. Screwed installation of wall hanging vanities. Less than 6 months had leaks.
