Wood Fence - Install
Very poor work. Fence crooked and a lot of boards have one nail. No pole holding up gate. Left old fence behind property leaning on neighbors fence. Called or texted several times; said he would return but never. He is NOT a man of his word and shame on home advisor for recommending them. I'm old and not well so checked the fence from my yard; I didn't go check the back alley between our properties. Shame on me. Have to hire someone to fix mess and clean up. Please respond.

Wood Fence - Install
Hired them to put up a fence! Okay, I should have known that an AC company knows nothing about fences. You'd expect common sense to kick in at some point though... I have uneven rails (some that are probably 30 degrees off! wish I could upload pictures, you wouldn't believe it) AND the fence boards in some locations are not even straight up-down. Aside from that, the fence they tore down is still in my neighbors yard! After a month, they still haven't picked up their mess! I do NOT recommend. Had to spend an additional $280 bucks to hire someone to pick up the old fence (supposed to be part of the deal).

Central A/C - Service or Repair
I was immediately called back by the owner of TLC after speaking to a customer service rep from homeadvisor. He came out within the hour, walked us through the problem and offered us the best solution. Instead of holding us over the coals saying we need a whole new compressor, he said he could replace all of the torched wiring inside our compressor without replacing the entire thing saving us over $1500+ dollars. He finished the job by 1:00pm the same day. Truly thankful I found him on homeadvisor!

Even though they were not knowledgeable about doors, from what I gathered, they still brainstormed (sort of along with me) to get the job done. My door is secure again. My only complaint was that it took three appointments for them to finally get to me. Luckily they made the third appointment, because I'm patient, but three strikes and you're out. I would hire them again though.

"It took us 3 times becsuse we seem to be the only handymen taking leads right now. From what I hear no one is taking appts. Until after holidays.I don't know what problems they had with screen door- they said none, but yes they are knowledgeable of everything, but any way she was a very nice and patient woman."
