I called Texas Built Construction when I noticed a leak in my living room based off there google reviews. They came out the same day and did a full inspection, I can not stress enough the level of professionalism and quality they showed. They walked me through every step of the process and took care of my insurance claim. I love my new roof.

I would hire them again. They are very conscientious and hardworking with and without direct supervision. Great work ethic.

Let me preface my review stating that I have over 40 years experience in the construction business and have dealt with thousands of workmen in all the construction trades. I have built all types of buildings from stick framing to high rises and have an extensive knowledge of all the trades. With that being said my first recommendation to anyone thinking of hiring these guys is "dont". Owners of the company don't communicate well with the workers and workers generally just do what they feel like doing. I had my own wood siding and windows installed and was told before work started that the carpenter (term loosely used in this instance) had a lot of experience installing wood siding. Turns out he had absolutely no experience in installing wood siding. The first window installed was supposed to be centered in my garage wall. When I arrived home in the evening I drove in front of the house and the window was a foot off center! The "experienced" wood siding installer started nailing all over the face of the siding instead of the 105 siding typical nailing pattern. Soffit trim and corner boards were installed first and the siding was butted up to them instead of the trim being applied over the boards after the siding was installed. Started out with lots of butt joints close to each other until I complained about that and the joint pattern got better. I asked several times about having enough siding and never got an answer until they ran out. Even then (and walls were close to being finished) I had to order a third time. When I thought I was going to run short the first time I specifically told them to finish the exterior of the house before they did the porch area just in case I was going to run out. Lo and behold when I got home that evening they started on the inside porch area and ignored the exterior of the house. I had figured i would change to bead board plywood in the porch area which I could have gotten in 40 minutes time. They specifically did what I asked them not to do taking that simple option away from me. When the siding was installed on the porch area they covered two electrical boxes with hot wires. That wasn't discovered until my electricians showed up the next day to install GFI's but the boxes were no where to be found. I called the company and asked for someone to come out and uncover them. They refused and said the boxes were marked (they weren't or I would have cut them out myself) and they would come back Monday to uncover them. That cost me another $300 to get the electrician back out. I also got a call later that day stating there were no plugs there in the first place. The electrical boxes miraculously re-appeared Monday afternoon, hot wires and all! The "carpenter" (again term used loosely) continuously argued with me every time I pointed out something to him. I have a few issues still outstanding and after two weeks of promises and more promises the "carpenter" showed up two hours late to finish the issue areas. After worki

First and foremost I want to apologize that you had some frustrations because it?s unfortunate. Here at Texas Built Construction we strive to ensure that every client is happy with services rendered but unfortunately, although very rare from time to time (like with every other great company) we come across a client who for some reason can?t be satisfied I know you had a few concerns throughout your project but I also know there wasn?t a single one in which we didn?t address and go out of our way to Alleviate. Before I point out our side of the story in regards to your complaints

I needed work done quickly because I was closing on my house and moving and he worked with me to make it happen and his Team did an outstanding job and were very easy to work with. I highly recommend them and they will be the first company I call for any future work I need done.
