Project: Hire a Handyman
We were very impressed with this company and their high quality of work. They arrived on time, were very conscientious about moving their tools and equipment without causing any damage to our new home and cleaned up after themselves. Very polite, thorough and with the highest standard of customer satisfaction. We will definitely use them again as well as recommend the company to friends and family.

Project: Hire a Handyman
I've hired David for several projects now and I can't recommend his services highly enough. He is very diligent and thorough; he does not cut corners or take shortcuts. You know that the job will get done right the first time!

Mr. Bliss painted all my interior walls, including bookcases and cabinets. He was very professional and knowledgeable, explained every step and gave great advice on the interior paint. I will definitely use him again.

Review by Melissa L. in Flower Mound, TX
Project: Hire a Handyman
This guy did not complete the job. Left my toilet bowls in the bathtub, took doors off and left them off, left rooms with texture only and didn't paint! He did not prime the wallpaper and it is bubbling and peeling! Painting is shotty at best with paint spills every everywhere! Dark paint spills all over white baseboard and doors and white ceiling! Contractor refused to complete and repair their work, he removed my toilet bowls and left us with no working toilets in the house and we are forced to stay in hotel! This guy DAVID BLISS is not a professional painter! If you were able to see all the pictures I took you would see. The contractor harassed me for cash and money down every day! Sometimes even upon arrival! Even though he ensured me there is no payment until the job is complete! Contractor took the money and ran. Beware - DAVIS BLISS IS DECEITFUL, DISHONEST, AGGRESSIVE, THREATENING, DRAMA QUEEN. I felt he continuously was trying to extort cash from me. He displayed bully-type behavior.
Response by Texas Mint Restoration: Melissa [Name withheld at customer's request] statements are completely false. Contradicting texts of Mrs. [Name withheld at customer's request] have been sent to home advisor showing that our paint crew was denied aces to the home, FOLLING a third party mediation performed by Home Advisor. None of these allegations were ever posted to social media until she was informed of the possibility of a lien being pulled on her home for non payment. She waited until my crew finished the entire home all except the master bathroom before threatening to hire an outside crew-The only door left off is the master bath. The only "room" not painted is the master bath. Toilet bowls were taken off by her request to texture behind them, she then wanted new toilets installed? My paint crew was told DAILY how pleased she was with the quality of our work. We have detailed pictures of all the work completed, detailed text saying how happy she is with the work. I was never given the opportunity to do a walk thru. The request was made by her to not remove the wallpaper, "easy on the pocket book" was her exact words. That process includes applying a coat of primer, taping the seams and applying texture. This is standard practice for not removing wallpaper. Upon arrival I requested a down payment that only covered %30 of the original contract. Several changes were made due to damaged drywall. Including painting 2 closets and the laundry room. All of which were completed, never receiving a payment for. This is on top of the original bid. Texas Mint Restoration has lost over $3,000 in final payment. There's no reason why a business owner would walk out on a job, with 1/2 days work left. Just to keep the job rolling and on schedule, I personally went and bought $259 from Sherwin Williams, and asked for reimbursement. She claimed that she had no more checks. NEVER was she harassed for money??? I'm sure any home owner feeling bullied by a deceitful, dishonest, threatening contractor would not allow them to enter their home for a full week? Several attempt have been made to resolve this. I, the business owner was sent a text stating not to call, text, or come anywhere near her home, as she claimed that this was intimidating. I'm a calm, cool, collected individual that prides myself on respect for not only women, but all persons!
