I hired them based on the reviews online (come to find out their family members left them). Very poor quality and work ethics. If you are considering to hire these people, please, read. I had hired them to frame and sheetrock a bathroom and rough in the plumbing. While working on the bathroom, they broke the wall through the next room which required a repair and a paint job. They had promised to fix that but never did. They followed to do my entire restoration project. Everything was greatly delayed, over a month and a half. The contractor always had someone to blame for the delay. For a while they tried to employ their relative. I was doing small work in the house on my own, so I was there every day and could see nothing was getting done. When the relative finally walked out of the job, they hired a foreign person who could not speak any English.1-After sheet rocking a bathroom and building a shower for a frameless neo-angle shower door they realized the wall they had built is a couple of inches off for the glass wall and glass door! So, they asked a local glass company to install the glass. This delayed the completion another 2 weeks. When it was completed and installed, I was appalled to discover that it wasnâ t anything that we had agreed on. It nothing like what we had talked about initially. When I complained, they repliedâ thatâ s what the experts recommended as the best optionâ . No one discussed this huge change with me. 2-For the two bathrooms, they offered photos of vanities. I picked a couple of matching ones. When they arrived, one was obviously too big for the bathroom it was intended for. It was such a misfit that if sitting on the toilet oneâ s knee would be pushing against the vanity. In exchanging it for a smaller size, The Danic owner wanting to charge me for the trouble. 3-After installing the vanity in the other bathroom, they realized that the drawers would not close against the plumbing (that they installed as well) unless they cut away a portion of the back of the drawer. In the process ruining an otherwise a good vanity and damaging the sink. 4-In the laundry room, I needed to cover the ceiling and hide all the pipes and electrical wires. They sheet rocked the ceiling fine but left a knee of a pipe out of the ceiling instead of going a couple of inches lower in the first place and cover this pipe as well. They just left this hole in the ceiling with the pipe hanging below it. After the complain, they simply build a box and covered the pipe and the hole and called it good. I let it go since it was the basement. 5-they installed the bathroom floors, leaving jagged edges of the flooring all around the wall and unfinished. Obviously needed to tie it all up against the wall with proper caulking all around. After the complaint, they only caulked the area where the tub is sitting and told me â I can caulk the rest myself if I need more caulkingâ . 6-They build a closet and put new closet doors. I asked about the guid
Response by The Danic Group, LLC: Anna, your counter suit didn't address any issues that were relevant to me, and the Judge stated that in court. We completed our portion of work on December 7, 2018. In court this month you stated you are still working on the home. This confirms that this project was mismanaged. We believe it to be a bad idea to self project manage any construction if you are not familiar with the process, we discussed this with you many times. I do feel bad that you are still figuring it out as we do most of our larger projects in 6-8 weeks or less. Feel free to contact me on my cell phone, I will be more than happy to discuss your concerns. Nicole

She is absolutely thrilled with the first project we did for her last year and hopefully we will be able to help her accomplish her other projects!
