    The Paynter and company were prompt, courteous, and professional. We were impressed with their attention to details. Kenny was informative with the work involved and always asked for clarification when needed. That alone made the process smooth and comfortable. We will definitely hire The Paynter again.

    Upon our initial meeting regarding the painting of our home, Ken Payne was recommended to us by Home Advisors. Ken came across as very personable and quite sociable. He explained to us he has 3 MBA degrees stating he is the smartest painter we will ever use. He is a very personable, likable guy, but very conniving, and told us how he would paint our entire townhouse within 2-3 days with his helpers using 2-3 Guatamalans, his niece, himself and sometimes his wife. The 5 reviews you see have to be from relatives or friends. This man will tell you he is the smartest painter you will ever meet, he is very cunning. We bought it as most people would! Being my husband is a former general contractor, he fell for it all. On day 1 he showed up with his 16-yr old niece and proceeded to paint and put in a 7-hour day. On the first day, I have pictures which this site does not allow you to attach, the entire house was in such disarray for there was no clean up at all. The second floor bathroom sink was filled with broken drywall and we have paint splattered all up and down the stairs. When I came home from work I was livid after looking at my home, and to calm my nerves my husband took me to the Best Western in Stuart for the night. Ken knew we were living in our home while the painting was being done. Ken and his niece took it upon themselves as if this was a vacant property. NOT SO!!! Then we learned he had NO OTHER EMPLOYEES!!! Only himself and a 16-yr old niece that would not lift a finger unless told to do so by Ken. 2-3 days became 6 days. When asked about his other 5 employees he remarked "that was only a joke". After the finished work that Ken thought was completed he was quite put out that he did nothing wrong and expected to be paid on the spot. Long story short, he had to come back 5 times to correct major/minor corrections. We are still finding portions on our walls that were not two-coated as stated in written contract. However, this man believes that he could do no wrong and tries to overcome you with intelligent words. We have pictures if you are interested in seeing them (close to 25). This review will also be posted on Facebook and Sherwin Williams whom said that Ken Payne was a good guy but could not recommend his work ethic. After trying to post a review by this horrible job done by this painter, I was shocked to find out by Home Advisor, our first time using the site, that our email address was blocked, what a coincidence??? This is the type of individual you are dealing with. It took us 2 days to figure out why we could not post this review. After reading this review and are still interested in using this man, please review our pictures.

    I'M SO HAPPY THAT I FOUND "THE PAYNTER". IT MADE MY DAY .AND KEN DID A WONDERFUL JOB. I WOULD RECOMMEND HIM FOR ANY PAINTING PROJECT.

    We hired "The Paynter" to do the painting while we were away. He gave us a fair estimate for the job, was right on time and when we came home everything was done as promised. They were very careful and clean and we would absolutely recommend them. We are very happy with this company and also think that Ken is professional and takes a lot of pride in his work.

    I was very satisfied with the work that was done. It was not an easy job since it involved stripping wallpaper but the finished project is wonderful. The Paynter is also friendly and professional. I highly recommend him for any painting projects.
