Let me publicly warn you- the owner (Joel) is out to take advantage of you. He is a compulsive liar & I would strongly recommend you look elsewhere for moving services. We are filing a formal complaint with the BBB- and I feel it my responsibility to WARN you of this guy. Don't let his fancy website fool you, this joke of a company is run by a kid that lied to us on multiple occasions, tried to cover up damaged posessions, and never follows through with what he says he'll do. Never. Best part of all- he does it all with a smile on his face, acts dumb and innocent. Hes a compulsive liar. Read on: 1. First of all, this "company" was referred to us from a friend, so we went into this with some confidence and a positive mindset. 2. Signed an agreement/scheduled our move for 1pm on a Friday for a move across town. We spent days preparing and scheduled off work. After 1pm came and went, we called Joel at 1:30 to see where he was at. Apparently, they had another move in the morning (we expected this)- and the closing was delayed. So all the stuff was on their trucks & they were waiting. He said theyd show up to us by 4pm (at the latest). We wait until 4pm, and still no sign of Joel & the boys. After another call to him, he states he will not be able to make it until "closer to 7pm". Fast forward to 9pm, remember originally scheduled for 1pm -- Joel and crew arrive. Apparently the delayed closing pushed them back 8 hours somehow.. Highly suspicious. They get out and start packing our belongings. He's got a couple solid workers on his team, and a couple turds. One guy smelled horrible and stunk up the whole house. Onions anyone? They wrapped & protected furniture, which took way more time than actually moving the stuff. Not faulting them here- but with any mover, remember you are paying by the hour & this ate up a TON of time, so gotta decide whats worth wrapping in blankets and kling-wrap for 20 minutes, versus just putting on the truck or putting a blanket over it in 2 minutes. The workers looked tired, so we replenished them with 18oz Monsters, and made a McDonalds run at 11pm and treated the crew to burgers & fries. Come 4:30AM, yes you read that right, we finally finished moving. (We were moving from a 3bed 1600sq ft house) and moved 5 mins away. We helped with moving all day/night alongside the crew as well. Joel refused to take any money off our bill stating "we are not responsible for arriving late", and proceeded to charge us extra for the 3 extra workers and 1 extra truck. We did not agree with this, however it was written on the back of his paper & we were exhausted. We gave them a generous tip (as we couldn't fault his workers) and figured we were done with him. 3. One day later, it was discovered my brand new workbench ($700) was damaged during the move. The side handle was literally ripped off the side, shearing the bolts & sheet metal. It was hanging from one end, and pushed into the corner to hide it. Nice try. We took photos and tried to contact Joel. His cell phone number changed. Tried a different # after some searching and finally got ahold of him. He sounded very appologetic and asked for us to send him the picture and he'd get back to us. Sent everything, 3 weeks pass- he never gets back to us. After several phone calls he answers, and states he was "just about to e-mail us back"- how Ironic! We are provided with two options : have someone weld the handle back on, or take $200. We opt for the money. He promises to send a check. 3 weeks later, no check. We call him, he says the insurance just cleared it, and hes now sending the check. One week later, no check- I now text him angry and upset- He states the check was mailed but mustve been lost. He says he'll drop the money off personally that day- never shows up and stops answering his phone. Stay away!

They were very quick to respond even though i called them last minute. Very reasonably priced and very courteous. I would definitely reccommend them.

I never used movers before so I under estimated how quickly movers get booked. I called The Specialist Moving Services two days before my move and they were able to accommodate me! They arrived on time, professional, courteous, efficient, and quick. They wrapped what needed to be wrap, broke down what needed to be broke down, and were very careful with my furniture. They even unwrap and put together everything. I highly recommend them!
