Project: New Windows
My experience with Titan is worthy of a 5 star ranking. I will be the first to admit; I am detail oriented and expect everything I purchase to be delivered to my satisfaction. We signed a contract to get new windows in August, and as I write this review, I'm looking through my newly installed windows at the river. There were a few bumps in the road during the installation process, but the company did everything I asked to remedy the situation, and more. One of my windows had a small scuff that I noticed after it was installed; rather than try to buff it out or cover it, they replaced the entire window. When I called to have the installer back out because there was some caulking that I felt needed touching up, they had someone here the next day. That's the kind of service that deserves a 5 star ranking. I am not an easy customer to please, but with the amount of care they've shown and the effort put in to make me happy, I can say I am pleased and will recommend Titan with complete confidence.

Before hiring Titan, I did my research online and the company had great reviews. I'm happy to say my experience with them was no different. Professional, efficient, great products, and quality installation.

I'm happy to hear that we earned your business after doing your due diligence. We always recommend doing research on the contractor you choose to hire, ourselves included! Your review is appreciated.

Project: New Windows - 6 +
Titan Remodeling, Inc. did an outstanding job! I hired them to replace all of my home windows and front storm door. Rain water had been sipping inside my home and damaging the wood in window sills. Titan remodeling was able to replace my windows and sills a few weeks before the Harvey rains hit Seguin. Titan Remodeling was the only company that agreed to walk the extra mile by replacing not just the windows but the sills as well. That is one of the main reasons I hired this outstanding company. As I told Titan Remodeling in my thank you note, Christmas came early in July for me. I am very pleased by the professionalism exhibited by Titan Remodeling in every aspect of my window and storm door replacement experience.
Response by Titan Remodeling, Inc.: Thank you very much for the outstanding review Maria! You were a pleasure to work with, and we value you as a customer. It really means a lot to us when a customer takes time out of their day to write a review, but you went above that and took the time to write a handwritten thank you note as well! We know you'll enjoy your new windows and door for many years to come, and look forward to any opportunity to serve you again.

Titan Remodeling did a fantastic job from the beginning to the completion of the job. We are very pleased with the company, and our windows look beautiful. With the recent storm we had, the first thing we noticed was the difference in the amount of noise from outside compared to the inside of our home. Count us among your satisfied customers!
Response by Titan Remodeling, Inc.: Thank you for your business and the FIVE STAR review Samantha! It's amazing what a difference the windows make, isn't it? Please let me know if we may ever be of service in the future, and welcome to the Titan Remodeling family!

Were nice and friendly up front. But when a problem arose, which it did constantly, getting in touch with them was very difficult. And then it seemed like I was putting them out to deal with something their contractors should be able to do without them. Very rude and abrupt attitude. Sent only two contractors to do work that should have taken at least four. And one day, only a single man showed up because it was a holiday and the other one was taking the day off. Problems consisted of cutting cables which had to be fixed by TWC. Doors that were delivered came without correct openings for padlocks. Seals on doors did not work. Had to call them back several times to re-work them. Would not recommend.
Response by Titan Remodeling, Inc.: Hi Mary, thank you for writing a review. Our phone number has stayed the same for over 10 of our 17 years in business, it's not difficult to reach us. Just in case; 210-774-6442. Additionally, it does not take a crew of 4 to install siding on a mobile home, 2 men is more than enough. There were some challenges with the doors to your mobile home, that we were able to overcome. We completed your siding installation in 2016; I am confused as to why you've waited over a year to express this? When you signed the completion certificate, you stated everything was installed to your satisfaction....

Project: New Windows
I hired Titan to replace the windows on the front of my home. I had previously received 2 other estimates. While Titan was not the lowest estimate, I don't mind paying more for quality work and not having to worry about problems down the line. I met with Carlos C on 5/21/2017. They completed the work yesterday, and I figured it's only right for me to write a review about my experience for others who might be in the position I was in. Carlos told me the installation would be 3-4 weeks from the time of signing the contract, and the company followed through. The windows look great, and the installers were on time, skilled, and left no trace of debris. Titan's warranty on their work and windows gives me the peace of mind for any future issues that may come up. Overall, I am extremely impressed with the professionalism, quality of work, and communication I've received from Titan. I highly recommend them for anyone considering window replacement. Thanks, Mario.
Response by Titan Remodeling, Inc.: Mario thank you very much for your business, your FIVE STAR review, and recommendation! I assure you your windows are worth every penny, and will provide year after year of comfort and beauty! We look forward to the opportunity to serve you again, (consumer name withheld per their request) Have a blessed 4th of July weekend!

Excellent work, did what they said they would do, when they said they would do it. Very happy with Simonton windows and gave me a military discount. Would recommend to others.

Review by Mozella C. in San Antonio, TX
Project: New Windows - 6 +
I am ONLY providing feedback because I selected Titan through HomeAdvisor, which shows Titan a one of its highest rated contractors. My next action is to file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. I met with Titan on more than one occasion to formalize a plan to replace all windows in my home. Once we agreed on a price and timeline, I entered into a contract with Titan and wrote a check for 10% down payment (05/08/17). Within days after the contract and down pmt, a 2nd Titan employee came to my home to verify measurements and inform me that [because of the selected color], it would take 3-4 weeks for the windows to arrive for installation (as opposed to the 2-3 weeks written in the contract). Contingent on the interest rate, I entertained using Titan's affiliate for financing. If the interest rate was unsatisfactory, my financial institutions were prepared to expedite financing. I awaited a response…and awaited a response. The salesman finally returned my calls (ready to move forward with work but still working on getting financial company to lower rates). I reminded him that I was perfectly able to secure my own financing; I simply wanted to move forward with the job. That communication was followed by the 3-4 weeks of silence, during which I presumed Titan was awaiting the window order. 3-4 weeks lapsed with no Titan contact to schedule a date to begin installation. Finally, I received a text from the salesman indicating a need to meet to discuss my project. Ominous. This warranted a phone call, one that was not returned of course. I subsequently called the company’s direct number to get a response. The company had the salesman call me instantly. The salesman intimated a family emergency and lamented the company’s failure to send an alternate in his place, but scheduled a meet at my home on 05/26/17 to “discuss a few things” about my project. He never showed for the meeting. Another call to the company…salesman’s family emergency continued, company’s failure to send an alternate continued, but [the salesman] would be at my home for the next meeting. Salesman arrived at my home on 06/01/17 [with the “boss” on the phone] to inform me that the company could not fulfil the job at the negotiated price and would like to renegotiate. Note: he opened his folder with paperwork, including the receipt showing that they cashed my down payment. Because a contract is a contract, I opted for a refund of my down payment. The boss then informed me that it would take 3-days and they would mail my refund. I requested my refund in-person and they said they would deliver the check to me on 06/05/17. So many things are wrong with this company, the least of which is unethical business practices. 1) Why sign a contract for work at a price outside of company capabilities? 2) If a mistake was made by the salesman, why not immediately refund the down payment [as opposed to dragging out the ordeal over the course of a month]? 3) Why cash the down payment if there was never an intention to order materials? So many things wrong. Customers seeking home improvement work, please do not use this contractor. Save yourself from the headache. HomeAdvisor, please stop recommending Titan as the highest rated contractor. I have found them to be the antithesis of characteristics deserving high ratings: THEY ARE NOT TIMELY, THEY ARE NOT GOOD, AND THEY CERTAINLY ARE NOT HONEST.
Response by Titan Remodeling, Inc.: (consumer name withheld per their request) first and foremost, thank you for inviting us into your home, and for the opportunity to earn your business. Titan Remodeling is San Antonio's HIGHEST RATED home improvement company for a reason. While we regret we could not earn your business, I must point out that there are several inaccuracies in your review. The chocolate color windows are custom order, so of course they will take longer to manufacture. Upon discovering the price difference with the windows you wanted, we immediately tried to meet with you to discuss this. There was indeed a period that went by without communication, this is because you were out of town. Your representative has a family member with a serious illness, and while we regret any inconvenience caused to you, no one can anticipate these kind of things. As a family owned business, our representatives and their families well-being are of the utmost importance, and I'm sure you understand that, (consumer name withheld per their request)Your down payment was deposited because we had every intention of ordering the windows to complete the contract. The down payment has been returned, and we wish you good luck with your window project.
