Duval Fence Inc

This is the third time I have used Duval Fence. The first time it was for fencing the front and sides. The second time it was a repair from a fallen limb. This time it was to replace an old previously existing fence. When I began this, Duval Fence was one of three who even returned my call and the only one still there when they realized that my job was small by their standards. My job was not small to me. Donnie is my salesperson and Richard was the lead on installation. Throughout the process I was treated with respect and consideration. In a world where so much is impersonal, they exude good old fashioned service. I highly value this company and recommend them without reservation.

<p><br></p> <p> On March 28, 2016 this order was placed with Josh for fencing materials to be picked up by our contractor, Andrade. We were charged on that date and told the material would be ready in two weeks. On April 11, I called to verify the order was ready and told it was not available and may not be ready until Friday. I asked to speak with a sales rep and was told someone would call me that day (Monday). No call. The next morning (Tuesday) I called again and Josh told me the order was ready for pickup. It wasn't. On Wed. afternoon Andrade went to pick up at DF. Upon unloading the fence sections, he discovered they were constructed with cracked and very poor quality wood. He asked them to replace the inferior boards and they refused, stating that the wood met DF's acceptance standards. Therefore, we had to pay Andrade for rebuilding the sections with unspilt pickets. </p> <p>On April 18 Pete called to deny our request for a refund of at least $65 to compensate us for the expense of removing the damaged wood pieces and having the sections rebuilt with adequate wood. He said that the sections were delivered with material which <b><i>"met DF's standards of quality"</i></b>. Our standards as a customer were not considered at all. (photos of damage available)</p> <p>We have conducted business with DF in the past and received material of adequate quality, prompt service, and polite communication. However, since we are not interested in receiving damaged material, poor response, delayed delivery, and refusal to rectify problems, we will definitely avoid Duval Fence company in the future and tell others how their "quality standards" have changed. </p> <p> </p> <p>           </p> <p> </p> <p> <br></p> <p> </p> <p> </p>

They put up with a lot from me. They did it well.

We are very happy that we selected Duval Fence. They were not the cheapest and not the most expensive. They worked with us on the budget and did an excellent job. We could not be more happy wig the quality of our fence, it is GORGEOUS!! The gates are amazing. The fence has gone from being an eye-sore to an actual garden feature. The ONLY thing I could knock them down on would be on pro-active communication but all-in-all I would not hesitate to recommend them. <br />

They did a great job. They showed up on time and this was great service. They gave me a great price. They removed the old fence when the work was done. Scheduling was excellent. Josh, the salesman, was very repsonsive to all of my calls and questions.

Duval fence installed my original fence 20 years ago. Great job, good price. This was a smaller job and looking at all that happened not sure they wanted a job this size. Very responsive on the original extimate. Had to follow up three times and mentioined Angie's list before I reached another individual. he message was work was heav and everyone busy. This individual promised to geet it done and in the end he did but not without some hitches. After a long delay, about a month called and said my order was "lost". Then when the installers came they had the wrong posts and had to redo. Once the work commenced it was finished within a couple of days. I would use them again if I had a bigge job, like fencing my whole back yard. FOr something small like this I cannot recommend them and would not use them.

My overall experience with Duval Fence was very positive. I called for an estimate and he (I worked with Pete) was at my house same day to give an estimate. I had asked for the quote before I closed on the house, and they were very patient during the closing process, and approval process from my HOA. Once approval was complete they ordered the supplies and had the fence installed within a week, at the quoted price, with no issues. I highly recommend Duval Fence.

Very smooth. Came out the day after I called and gave us a quote. Installation was a little delayed, but saved us a good amount by combining orders with the wholesaler. Installation was professionally done and looks great.
