Comment: When you pull down the stairs that access the attic, the metal hinge on the right side gets pushed in so that you cannot close the stairs back up into the ceiling. I have to get a rope and place it around the right side hinge at where it bends and pull the hinge OUT. Once I have pulled the stairway hinge back out, I can then push up the attic door. I am not sure why the hinge pushes back - when you climb the stairs it puts pressure on the area of the hinge that rotates (when you pull the stairs up or down) and for some reason the ri9ght side hinge pushes back so that when you try to close the attic door, you must pull the hinge where it rotates back to the front and then the stairs will fold up the way they are supposed to and you can push the attic door all the way up into the ceiling. The area of the hinge that I am speaking of is where it rotates when you pull the attic door down and then it rotates again when you are putting the attic door back up. If you have a pull down atti
