Comment: I already had serv pro come and dry the area for three days but then I had to have them leave because I was out of money and because they could not remove the floor without approval from the insurance inspector and he could not come until yesterday. He came and gave approval for removing the floor to finish drying because it was senseless to keep drying a floor that we already knew needed to be removed.

Comment: It was a detached garage that burned. There was some belongings inside that were not burned, but almost everything that was inside was either smoke damaged, fire damaged or water damaged. I have pulled out almost everything we could. There is still 4 walls standing which are cinder block, and there is some roof and trusses on the ends of the front and back. The inside was burned badly. I fear it will have to be completely demolished and a new garage rebuilt. I took pictures of the stuff that was inside, but we started pulling out my wifes Christmas stuff and lots of other things that we tried to save prior to taking pictures. The insurance in now wanting me to contact someone that can try to salvage some of the stuff, to see if it can be taken off of the content list that was sent in.
