I contacted Brent Mercahant from Go Green Heat and cool about a new unit installation and he was very professional and had all the technical answers to my questions. The installation was completed in a timely and professional manner. The price was very reasonable. Keep up The Great Work !!! Thanks again

Comment: 2150 Sq Ft two story house. 2nd floor has 3 bedrooms and a bathroom so it is only 1/4 of the square footage total. Current system is 18 years old and leaking freon, needs about 2 lbs to recharge it, so that is why we are looking at replacing the unit. Current system is a 5 ton unit, but we understand the return air register only has 760sq inches so some contractors are saying a 4 ton unit would be better than a 5 ton. Want to know about the cost to install an HVAC combined A/C and Furnace. Want a 14-16 SEER and 80-90 AFHUE system, with a variable speed system too so if that requires a higher SEER then we will consider that if those models are better suited with options. Upstairs is usually warmer than downstairs so it has always been a problem.

Comment: I live in a condo with an A/C compressor on the roof and blower (Carrier) in my unit. Blower has been replaced in last 5 years so I am looking to replace rooftop unit only if possible (with 2 ton unit? square footage of my condo is 986). I believe I also need another air return vent b/c existing return vent is too small.

Comment: Project will include replacing air/heat system and repairing duct work. Had critters in the attic two summers ago and Ranger solved the situation. However air/heat system has not worked properly since. Have had two groups come out to look at it - Church Services and Stan's - both told me everything was ok and the unit would only make about a 20 degree diff in outside temp when over 100 degrees. Not true the unit had worked fine before critters. Another group has come and looked over and said two long runs of duct work needs to be replace (showed pictures and looks awful. The unit needs to be replaced as well. Price seems high and they are a little pushy. Need 2nd opinion as I am not comfortable with group.
