Comment: Our kitchen has 3 different countertops and an old stainless steel sink. We recently bought butcher blocks to use as countertops and a farmer sink to update the old existing one. Our home is an antique farmhouse and we are planning to keep the feel and preserve its charm. The kitchen cabinets are original and we are planning to keep it. However, some cabinets do not close and it might need some adjustments.. We even bought subway tiles to use as backsplash. We are looking for a contractor to check our kitchen and to give us an estimate of the cost and time to do the job.

We have spoken with the town about zoning and will be applying for a zoning with variance but could not find information on how to hook into town sewer or if we will need septic hook up. We already have running water in the barn but are not sure if it is enough to install a toilet, bathroom sink, shower, and kitchen sink. We are looking for someone to help us figure out where to start.
