Project: Install, Replace or Repair a Main Sewer Pipe
Location: Denver, CO
Date: 07/19/2019
Nature of Project: Replace existing sewer pipe from home to street
Reason for Service: Plumber or other professional has recommended it
Distance to Street (ft.): 200824, 101 to 250 feet
Property Owner: Yes
Desired Project Start Date: Within a few weeks
Comment: There are two significant low areas in the sewer and 2 areas of significant damage. There is also cracking at the tap to the city sewer. Taken as a whole, replacement of the sewer from the home to the city sewer should be considered. Standard replacement from the home to the garage with a pipe burst or re-lining of the sewer from the garage to the city may be the best way to repair this line. The low area extends under the addition of the home and could not be located. At the house the line is just over 6ft deep. As it passes under the garage (along the dividing wall) it is about 6ft 4in deep and in the alley at the most significant break it is 7ft 6in deep. The tap is about 9ft 6in deep and is an atypical connection as the pipe is butted up against a break wall with a whole in it. This may be an abandoned original manhole.
