Comment: Had flow liner put in, never told about possible SIDE EFFECTS !! Now 1st time in 38 yrs we have water in our basement. We allowed them to come back they tried a "fix" and all that did was put sewer gas back into the house. Another local plumber removed that and now we have a approx 30" pit dug in our basement around the cleanout with water in it with a drain to prevent it flooding the whole basement until we find where this water is coming from. Our basement was finished, the carpet is ruined !! The wood on the walls is going to have to be taken off. We have enough money in this already we could have bought a New small car ! I am sick ! Please help !

Comment: The damage is from a side by side refrigerator with front door dispenser. The water hose was never connected to a water line so therefore the water hose slowly leaked on sub floor. Promises were made to get it hooked up but I became a widow soon after and it didn't happen so it's been years this has been happening. I would put trays under the fridge carriage to keep it off the floor but it still would over flow and leak under the tray. I can't ignore it any longer as my sub flooring finally gave out where the leak was. About a 12" hole in diameter with some of it (2") reaching underneath my kitchen cabinet beside the fridge and part of my wood divide base between the fridge and the cabinet. I can see down into my crawl space so it's hard to reach underneath because I also see my furnace duct pipe, wiring, and floor joist directly under where the hole is. Not much money to give as I'm now low income but I do work. HELP!
