"I originally purchased a dryer vent cleaning for $79 from angie's list back in December of 2012. Never got a chance to use it before it expired, but Anthony still honored it. I added the air duct cleaning since that was overdue as well.
Anthony showed up a little late (half hour to hour), but was very professional and nice. Did a thorough job and let me know what exactly he was doing (I had very dirty air ducts). Very friendly. Not pushy. Was willing to give advice (on my A/C filter). Overall a good experience.

Due to a minor water leak a section of drywall about 8' x 2' had been cut out. The trim in this area and on the other side of the hall plus a closet had to be placed as well. The drywall and trim had been removed due to a small amount of mold from the water leak.  I called George's painting due to all the great reviews here on Angie's list.  I received an estimate on this work and in addition I asked for an estimate on some painting.  I thought the estimate was very fair. George was extremely professional and even came to look at what the job entailed late on a Friday evening as he was returning from other jobs on his way back to his office. This was absolutely fine with me as I had no plans to go anywhere.  George sent my estimate first thing Monday morning.

In the end I used George's only for the drywall and trim work. The job was easily scheduled and the 2 man crew did an outstanding job. I couldn't even tell there had been any damage. The trim work was outstanding as well with nice miter cuts. It lined up well with the existing molding where the miter cuts met.  It only took them approximately 4 hours to do the job.  I plan to call George's in the future for outside painting of my house.

"Whenever I hire painters from Kargmans, they consistently do excellent work regardless of the project type. As with all contractors, on-site communication before, during and after the project is the key to success. Randy and his teammate (apologies, I forgot to write down your name) started this work by doing some extra prep tasks that my husband had not been able to complete. When I pointed out the areas that needed small repairs or sanding, they got to work right away and handled these tasks in a very professional manner. When it turned out that I had gotten the wrong color paint for one of the rooms (which I discovered after they had already started to paint the closet), Randy told me that there were no problems. He would let the closet paint dry and start over again with the replacement color paint. No matter what task I asked them to do, they completed each job with professionalism, courtesy and good humor. I will continue to hire Kargman's painters for each area of my renovation. Over the past three years, they have water-proof painted my basement, sealed new wallboard, painted the kitchen, family area, living room, hallways and now the bedrooms and bath. As long as you communicate clearly verbally (yes, some of the painters speak Spanish and I do not) and with actions, you will get exactly what you need/want/paid for. "The crew was punctual. They did what they said they would do in a timely fashion. There were some cracks that appeared once the cement dried which we were told might happen. They came back and filled in the cracks. Compared to other prices were were given I think the price was ok. There is no way to tell if it worked until the next very heavy rain occurs. They cleaned up after themselves but because of the nature of the work there was dust to deal afterwards.
