"Great! We woke up about 3:00 a.m. and the temperature in our home was 82 deg. I called Grant around 8:00 and they promised to get us on the service list. The technician came out above it 2:30 and immediately identified a part that needed to be replaced. He fortunately had an extra on his truck and quickly got it installed. We were expecting a much high bill and we're thrilled when he gave us the bill for $130! "Project went great! I received calls and estimates from two companies found via Angie's List the same day requesting service online. I selected Ace Repair Plumbing because the service technician Ryan Cryer and his assistant were more thorough in checking out work to be done and, also, discovered in doing so that I needed a new water cutoff valve in my condo unit. While providing the estimate for my shower faucet replacement, they checked out my toilet that felt loose and found it was not anchored properly. They pulled the toilet, replaced whatever part the toilet is seated to (?), properly screwed it down, and then reset the toilet. It's solid. Yeah. We scheduled work to replace my water cutoff valve and shower faucet hardware for the first day the following week that the condo engineer could cut off water to the entire building. Ryan and assistant were on site as soon as water was scheduled off and replaced valve quickly. Water to the property was restored within an hour. Ryan was able to provide the Delta shower head and faucet assembly I wanted and complete its installation within another hour or so. He even installed an access panel through sheetrock behind shower faucet. I'm impressed with the quality of work done. Excellent company. Terrific staff."

"Excellent service, very fast response to my request for service, picked up laptop, diagnosed issues. Initially thought it was an OS update issue but the hard drive had failed along with other components (including 'CPU). Because other components were involved, a new solid state hard drive was put into a laptop with a working processor - same type CPU as in the failed unit. The laptop was repaired and returned in less than a week. This company picked up and dropped off the laptop (driving from Huntsville, AL (about 60-70 minutes)-- great service in this covid environment. I would recommend this company to my family./friends and will use again."

"The two service men arrived promptly and were professional in their approach to things. They told us what they were going to do and proceeded to setup their equipment. The first part of the process is determining where all the vents are and then removing all the covers. They did this part quickly and got to work right away. Opening the vents in older homes, of course some of them were painted and some immediately caused dust to drop. They proceeded to run through the cleaning, took their time, explained the optional services that could be provided. With this being a new house to us, we decided to add the additional services. I always expect an up-sell with promotion deals, so I figured this in and I was fine with their prices. The dryer vent was a mess, so I was glad that was taken care of. Once everything was done, they put all the vent covers back on and vacuumed up the house. Overall I was happy with the service when they left. 
I did mark this review as "No, I would not use them again" and that's because I've been finding loose screws all over my house for months since they were here. When they took all our vent covers down, instead of replacing the original screws, they must have used new ones and the old ones were left behind. Having stepped on one or two of them, I wasn't thrilled and it would be dangerous if we had kids.
I can't say the work was bad at all - I was happy with the clean pipes that I could see and they were very nice - but the leftover screws bothered me.

We basically need a new unit, we knew that but he did the repair very inexpensively so that we will have time to get a chance to get new AC. He gave me different options, all kinds of info."
