Attic Air has been in business since 1996 and specializes in insulating and ventilating residential homes. Attic-Air will come out free of charge to evaluate your home. "Attic Air absolutely lived up to their reputation. They did a GREAT job! I did my research in creating a short list of 3 bidders for the job. I have a bi-level house (4 levels) with 2 attics. We had black mold on the underside of the roof which we had remediated a week before having Attic Air come in to fix our ventilation and insulation issues. Our upstairs floor was cold in the winter and hot in the summer. The attic ventilation and insulation needed to get fixed, and I wanted to make sure I hired a good company to do it the right way so I never had to worry about it again. I made the right choice. The temperature throughout the house is so much more even now. Before Attic Air came out, the basement and sub-basement were freezing and the first and second floors were warm and hot. My over-sized top of the line Trane a/c unit was working overdrive to try to cool the 2nd floor and never could do it. The top floor is so much cooler now than before. It's really going to save my a/c unit in the long run. Attic Air was not the lowest bid of the 3, but you get what you pay for. If you want to get the best quality this is the company you want. I would haven't have changed a thing. Worth every penny!"

"This is the most negligent contractor I've dealt with in my life. They suggested to not be home for our attic insulation since we have a newborn at home which I appreciated. They seemed careful and thoughtful in the sales process which is why I ended up picking them for our project. However, when it came time for the job they were reckless with security and safety. Before the job I sent multiple notes via text and email, and had a phone call asking them to contact me at the end of each day so I could set the alarm and lock the doors remotely. Day one they didn't do this. I sent another ask to please be mindful of this so I could keep our home secure. Day 2 they did not do this again, and ended up leaving our front door wide open which triggered a burglar alarm at 2am requiring us to deal with the security company and police throughout the night. Afterwards it took days for anyone to reply. They lacked empathy or ownership for how negligent their team was. I would not recommend working with these people. Mistakes happen, but the response to these mistakes was almost as bad as their dangerous actions themselves."

We never wanted cabinets from a flooring company, But they targeted the owner because she is 91 years old and took them. Months later we got them back from the ex-con and hoodlum they sent to rob the owner totally destroyed and had to pay another $1300 to get them back. We feared for our safety because they wanted to know if the house was for sale and what types of cars we were driving. They prey upon the elderly. Do not use this company unless you have a criminal attorney on retainer. Stay away from DeSitter at all costs."

I then had them over to ask for a quote on replacing the floor and fixing subfloor issue especially in 2 spots, they said they would do it. they replaced the floors and did none of that.
