"I needed to share my opinion of Reed because it was an outstanding experience! I just moved recently so funds are low, but I couldn't risk messing up the new place so when I found RJD electrical I was shocked to find they covered all my insecurities as well as personally working with me on pricing and troubleshooting what to do for the best cost and how to do it. Honestly I don't Know where to begin I'm just so happy with the work he did, how helpful and personable Reed was during this project while maintaining the upmost professionalism. ...not gonna lie I was alittle skeptical don't usually hire younger electricians but after speaking with him and seeing for myself how much he knew about this old place and his past experience with how their wired, ideas on how to conserve energy and lower bill costs etc. I was reassured. (Although, I did look him up after, just because I was curious, and wasnt surprised to find that he is certified from a great school, and had worked with licensed electricians with a great company before recently going into home advisor, and after checking home advisor on the BBB I understand why! A great addition to this great company! You guys are a godsend especially for the middle class who can't afford an arm and a leg for their home repairs! Thank you guys for your amazing and quality services. It's hard nowadays to find honest hard-working people who do an honest days work for an honest price. I Kno who I'll be contacting for my future home repairs and projects! Thanks again Reed, and ps. I'm adoring these new fixtures great find exactly what I was looking for, and the new lights are brighter and the meters barely moved! Glad we went with the conversion you were totally right!"

"Our fridge stopped working! My husband tried to reset the panel but was unsuccessful. He couldn't find anyone to come in such short notice. He reached out to Danny. Danny was concerned that our fridge wasn't working and told my husband not to worry he would come tonight. He showed up after working a regular full day and took his time to find the problem. Believe it or not he found that the old homeowners had wiring out back that had shorted. His price for an emergency visit and the fix was actually affordable. Danny has "old school" values. He knew we were stuck and helped us out without overcharging us. He was great to work with and I would recommend him to anyone!!!"

Electricians do a fair amount of larger remodeling and new construction projects but also common residential projects including:
For cost information related to the above tasks, visit our Electrical Cost Guide.
A truly skilled, well-equipped professional with a truck full of parts that charges $100 an hour can be a much wiser choice than an inexperienced hack, working with inadequate tools and no parts, but charging much less. Often, more experienced professionals get the job done quickly with warrantied work.
2. Compare Travel ChargesRates reflect travel times. Travel charges can have a big impact on your costs and are in some ways easier to compare than hourly rates. Many electricians spend a third or more of their time navigating traffic on their way to a jobsite. Every contractor must find a way to pay for the expense of driving each day.
3. Bundle Repair Jobs TogetherWhen you feel it’s time to call a pro, review your list and then conduct a mini-inspection of your home. Look for faulty switches and dysfunctional or crowded outlets. When the electrician comes, you’ll save money and time by getting everything taken care of at once.
