"Bob and his sons saved my basement carpet from having to be replaced following a flood due to a leaking hot water heater.  Called Bob at 9 a.m.  He arrived early afternoon to review the situation.  Quoted $1500.  Hefty price, but, honestly, we were too desperate to price shop.  Basement is a home office with file cabinets, file boxes, computers/printers, etc.  Had his crew of sons come to house by 5:30 p.m.  Sucked up water with wet/dry vac, set up commercial dehumidifier and fans.  Checked on it for days with moisture meter.  Applied deodorizer.  Bottom line: Dried out the place such that we didn?t have to replace sheetrock, carpeting or padding. Vacuumed, cleaned (removed major water stains) and deodorized.  He and his sons are both personable and extremely hard working and efficient.  Everything happened as Bob said it would.  He was on top of the job.  We are very, very grateful.

"Bill did a great job!  He spent about 2 hours cleaning the living room and hallway.  He was very professional and polite.  The carpet is about 7 years old and had a lot of wear and tear on it.  there were various stains on it and we had an older dog that had some accidents on it so we weren't expecting any miracles, but we have to say that the carpet looks about as close to new as possible.  We have had the carpet cleaned before by various cheaper companies but none of them came close to the job that Bill did.  There even seems to be more give to the carpet, like the padding somehow came back to life.  There were actually a few spots we noticed after he left and we called Bill and he came back the next day and took care of them.  Very satisfied with his services and we highly recommend him.

"I worked with Moe and thought he went above and beyond. 
After contacting Cross County Plumbing, Heating & Air Conditioning, Moe came out to my house a few days later and provided an estimate.  A lot of plumbing companies make you pay a fee just for an estimate which I think is ridiculous.  Moe did not charge a fee.  Moe was patient and informative.  He helped chose the filter for my house and waited for me to make up my mind.  I would recommend him to anyone looking to do some plumbing work at their home or place of business.
We now have some clean water and I know that I can shutoff our water at anytime.  Peace of mind because of Moe!

We had to replace a bathtub and do additional tile and sheet rock work and they were able to do all that, so we didn't have to call in additional help. "I bought a small single-family home in Williamsburg near Humboldt and Jackson, shelled out $60,000 for a contractor that put me off over and over and then kept my money and vanished. I was as jaded as one could be with the contractor/GC profession in NY. But, I had to renovate the 110-year-old, rotted out house. I bid contractors and did site visits for over 6 months. Big firms and small. All estimated the job time at 6 to 10 months and at a huge cost that was always double my budget. I found Picasso on this website and due to his reviews, called. He actually answered the phone, listened to my story, my concerns, my requirements and didn’t blink. He walked through my project and then required that I visit his past projects before he would offer a price as he wanted me to be sure he was for real. I visited a couple of his projects. He let me visit his past clients’ homes without him being with me. I spoke at length with the home owners, in their homes and it appeared as though his reviews were real. Being still a skeptic, I hired George/Picasso. George told me he could finish the entire house in 10 weeks. That again had me in disbelief but daring to hope. That included a complete backyard, finished basement, new roof structure/roofing, and gut remodel of both stories of the house. My house was to be a 2.5 bath, 2 bed with skylights in the vaulted master ceiling and full paver back yard with brick flower boxes. It was a 1 bath home that had not been renovated since the 60’s. It had sag issues, water damage and 100 years of rot. After literally a few of days the house was gutted and materials were starting to arrive. Picasso brings a crew of 10 to the house ever day and always the same personnel. George was at the house most every day as well. As they encountered issues in the house, the crew tackled and repaired/replaced all the problems that could not be seen from the initial walk-through. Believe it or not, George never asked me for an additional dollar. His price is his price. His crew handles issues. As a person on a very tight budget, it was a God-send. Picasso was happy to do a labor-only bid and I opened a direct account with a supply store. I received a detailed bill from the supplier for every piece of material. Every nail, screw and board. I have pictures of the before and the after. I also welcome any future client of Picasso who wishes it to visit my home, see the pictures and hear the story of how Picasso built me a home, managed the sub-contractors, finished the project on time and helped to keep me sane in the process."

"Rightway Waterproofing is the company you want to come and waterproof your basement. I had initially set up a job looking for pros through Angie's List. I was contacted by Rightway Waterproofing via phone and email but did not respond as life happens. Well it rained really heavy again in August and I had more water in the basement. I reached out to them on a Friday and Albert contacted me immediately. They were able to come out on Monday to look at my property. Jake was thorough and friendly. He let me know what he thought we needed, explained everything thoroughly and gave us a quote which was completely reasonable. We accepted the bid and work was to commence on Thurs as they had an opening. Work was completed in one day. The area was kept pristine and they did an amazing job. The crew was courteous to my family. I could not recommend them more. I hope to have them out again at some point to finish my basement area as well. Try to keep in mind that during the season of covid many families are looking for ways to make more space in their homes or to have to home projects done. "Wow, I?m so happy to have my basement back!  I was just walking around the basement, amazed at how new everything is again! 
Due to a leaking window frame, everything in the basement was developing mold. I cleaned my belongings that I wanted to keep and threw out a lot, but the main problem would be cleaning the basement  itself.  In finding a company, I was mostly afraid I'd be told I had a bigger job at hand than I did (it's ceratinly happened to me before).  Joe Lindsay is the owner of Puroclean.
