"We hired Professional House Painters Corp (PHP) for our home’s exterior painting. Right from our very first contact, every interaction we had with was very professional, respectful and positive. Alex Machain and his team of workers were always very respectful and on time. Our main interaction was with Alex and we can’t say enough good things about him. Alex spent time explaining the process and answering all our questions during our first meeting. Alex made sure that everything went well through the planning and execution phases and that the exterior painting was done to our full satisfaction. Alex went above and beyond to help us replace our garage weather stripping and dryer vent exterior flap to ensure that the whole house was painted and looked evenly done. He certainly didn’t need to go the extra mile to help us find the garage weather stripping and install it since it was beyond the scope of the painting job. However, Alex himself offered and got it done without even a second thought. His team also came back after the painting was done to touch up the dryer vent flap that we needed to replace. "Our experience with Paul at Sunshine Painting Crew was exceptional from the beginning. He was friendly throughout the week he worked on painting our two story home. We went with Sunshine Painting Crew because of the cost, but our house looks so much better. He replaced rotting trim around many of the windows, caulked the entire house and painted the body, trim, gutters, and shutters. "We requested quotes from four contractors to paint our single-level 1,300 square foot house and 8'x12' shed. Not only was Ric the only one to respond, but he emailed us less than an hour after we requested quotes and came over that same day...and it was on a Sunday. Talk about a great first impression! He sent his quote the very next day, and it was about what we expected to pay. We are very happy with the work that Ric and his crew did. Ric is very personable and professional. He listened to what we had to say, and made some recommendations such as caulking the siding where necessary, which we agreed to have him do. His crew came over a couple of days before they were scheduled to start work to pressure-wash our house and shed. The actual painting took only two days, and there is absolutely no overspray or paint drips on the concrete or on our deck. They cleaned up after themselves and the house looks brand new. We've already referred them to two friends who are thinking about having their houses painted next year."

Our 70-year old home was looking quite sad with paint peeling on every side, rotten boards, and a general sense of neglect. We were unsure of what could be done to get it back into shape.

Of all the paint contractors we contacted (5 in total), Tyler from Shades of Rose put us most at ease. His bid was very competitive for the amount of work and he was honest, straight-forward, and patient with whatever questions we had. His crew arrived on time every day, were courteous and professional, and cleaned up thoroughly every day. They even removed and reinstalled our crazy storm windows without a complaint - which was a herculean task (Tyler said afterwards that they were the most difficult the team ever had to deal with).

At the end of the last day when we had our final walk around, I was amazed at the transformation of our house. I think Shades of Rose did a tremendous job and I am thankful that we invested in them. Also outstanding was Tyler's reassurance that they would come out to fix up anything that bugged us over the next few weeks. We also have a 3-year warranty and the crew will come out if there are any issues over that time frame.
