Shopping for different brands of siding from different installers can be overwhelming, and to be honest, vinyl siding wasnâ t on our radar as we checked options like hardie plank, PVC and composite siding from all kinds of manufacturers. It seemed like each quote from different installers was higher than the last, and many of those estimates excluded things like replacing gutters, which were removed in the process, or reconnecting exterior lighting, which would probably send the total cost to about 3x what we ended up paying. We went with the Alside Prodigy clapboard in 6â with foam insulation attached and couldnâ t be happier with how it looks. It has extremely clean lines and really spruced up our house.
