"Cabinet Repair- Deck Repair- Snow Damage Repair We had some damage from the winter that we didn't realize until we had our granite countertops installed. They cracked twice! We started to dig deeper to find a problem. We realized that our deck was pulling away from the house and a floor joist was bumping up into the kitchen making our cabinets uneven. We got several quotes from contractors. Jack was the ONLY contractor that discussed ways to solve the problem, so it wouldn't happen again next winter! He took his time, he looked outside, inside, under and over. He took pictures as well. We knew we were going to hire him even before we received the estimate. We were surprised when his estimate was the lowest! Strong Builders outlined the remedy for our situation which included pulling the deck back towards the house, reinforcing the floor joists with better bolts, re-leveling our kitchen cabinets, digging new footings for our deck and reinforcing our deck. All of this was done with painstaking care!. Each and every kitchen cabinet needed to be leveled by creating small pieces of wood at varying angles to create an overall level surface. This looked impossible to me! Other contractors told us we needed new cabinets because it wasn't worth it to fix. Jack worked with our granite company personally to be sure he understood what they said the problem was. Jack does not try to up-sell you either. He is highly professional in the fact that he fixes what needs fixing and works around what is structurally sound. When he started work, I was a little worried about my basement rug getting dirty, but to my surprise- Jack covered the entire area where he was working. He is a very clean worker and takes pride in his work. We are so happy to know that going into this winter, we will not experience the same problem. We are thrilled to have our kitchen counters installed! When we need more work done at our home, we will definitely hire Jack and Strong Builders! (Northboro)"

"We are remodeling our kitchen from the studs up and wanted an architect to design our kitchen to make sure the new appliances, cabinets, flooring, lighting, large window, workstation sink, custom hood all went with each other and fit perfectly. We were referred to YDB by our contractor. Jamaal designed our kitchen. As with any remodeling we changed our mind a few times as we worked our way to a design we liked. Jamaal was patient with us as he went thru a few iterations of re-designing and re-renderings. He is courteous, professional, knowledgeable, has good ideas, and an eye for chic. YDB fees are also reasonable. We are waiting on our contractor to start the remodeling work and will post back when the install is complete on how everything came together."

"Sovereign Painting patched, filled, plastered and painted two rooms plus hallways, entranceways, and foyer in my home. The rooms were very difficult and had not ben painted in 30 years. They included a high cathedral ceiling and walls that needed plastering and baseboard heating. They exceeded my expectations in every way and especially the quality of their work and their attention for small detail. They plastered holes, covered cracks with tape and used the latest technology for water stains. They followed best practices and did not cut corners. They delivered two needed coats while others only quoted one. They fixed, patched and painted railing that I did not think could be saved. They were extremely professional. I was so impressed that I asked then to return and paint the rest of the house. These are the real pro's and were very competitively priced. "The entire staff was excellent, from the first contact with John and Laize, who were very patient with my wife and me as we tried to pick out a color of roof from so many different choices. We had our house installed with a new Asphalt roof shingles from Diamond Construction, and I was thoroughly pleased with the entire experience. The installers were excellent as well. The debris around the house that accumulates with a new roof, tiny pieces, large pieces, all were taken care of in the cleanup at the end and the area was spotless!! The end result is a beautiful roof."

"Renato and his team did an amazing job on our backsplash and flooring! They gave us a fair price and were very flexible when our tile ended up being delivered weeks after expected. He and his team worked meticulously and it really shows. They did a great job at keeping the rest of the house clean and dust free while they worked. The job itself went longer than quoted because of some problems that popped up while removing and installing the tile, but they worked extremely hard to meet our deadline. "Edmar and his helper Marcio were fantastic. They were conscientious of our property. They rebuilt a patio and changed our deck to extend the patio for us. They also built steps leading to the patio and a wall to encase the patio with a fence on top so our pup does not escape. The final project is absolutely breathtaking! In the past 3 years of living here we have not used this patio area so much. I could not be happier with the job they completed. Cannot wait to have them back to rebuild the outdoor fireplace and steps leading to the front door. We have recommended him to our neighbors"
