"MJ masonryâ  s owner and the crews are very friendly and professional. The best part of their job was they were quick, precise and clean. I have seen multiple contractors doing the similar projects or even smaller than ours at my friendâ  s house and taking weeks to complete the job, in addition damaging good chunk of the lawn and sometimes even damaging sprinkler/s. However, in the case of MJ masonry, they were very gentle with the lawn and the sprinklers. They cleaned up everyday before they leave and thorough cleaning after the job done. "I hired Niz Masonry to remove 2 failing fences and install a new fence in its place. Santos and his team showed up at exactly 8am all 3 days they were here. Within the first hour of the first day one side of my yard was fully removed and they were starting on the posts. They went above and beyond to get the fence perfectly straight, and joined it perfectly with the posts joining our neighbors fences. All posts were installed at full depth with concrete. We had tree stumps that were in the way of the fence line on both sides of our yard and they went above and beyond, carving away just enough of the stumps to fit the fence panels in perfectly. The crew was friendly, courteous, and clean. They were very careful around everything in our yard, cleaned up as they went and left at the end of the day with our yard perfectly clean. They were also very courteous of our neighbors and cleaned their yards as well. There were many spots in this job where they could have taken short cuts, but they didnâ t take any of them. They did everything by the book and iâ m extremely satisfied with the results. They wonâ t be the cheapest option, but you get what you pay for, and I feel like I got more than I couldâ ve asked for. Highly recommend!"

"I had Hilario do a natural stone wall first with granite stone steps, all with stone material that was naturally available in my yard. He and his team did some excellent work for reasonable pricing. Most other companies don't want to even deal with stones that are already on-site, but I kind of like the idea. The stone wall looks really nice. I then had him also do the asphalt pavement of my new driveway. Outstanding job and also for very good pricing (and yes, I had several competitors bids). Lastly, I had him make me a paver stone area that is partt of a walkway. Also, real good work and it looks very nice. Overall, very professional, honest, reliable, excellent work that is reasonable priced, and the scheduling of the work was also very fast. I highly recommend him."

"We found Goodwood General Construction on Angieâ s list. Our project was relatively large in size. We added a six foot fence and changed our driveway from asphalt to stone pavers. We added a patio in the back. The project also included granite front and side steps, a granite mailbox post and the removal of several trees and bushes, and numerous old brick pavers and stones. The entire site had to be regraded to correct drainage issues on both sides of our house. Henry (The Contractor) was exceptional from the start. He was very calm and helpful during the whole process. He provided our estimate in a timely manner and was right on target for both the start date he promised and completion. The crew was respectful to our property and neighbors. At the end of each day they cleaned the site and left it immaculate. There were no surprises!I enjoyed having the crew here every day and Henry was always open to any adjustments I made along the way. They completed the project on time. I am 58 years old and have owned my home since 1994. I have had multiple contractors work on our home for various projects. This is the first time I actually enjoyed the whole process and was never â bullied for moneyâ . Our project is now complete and every person that walks by our house compliments his work. "After at least 30 years of major wear and tear, our bluestone patio around our swimming pool required a MAJOR restoration. The bids we got from folks ranged widely, but only Ion seemed to understand what it would take and came in with a more than reasonable bid. This was no small project and took over two weeks to complete, and every step of the way Ion and his one-person crew were on the job promptly each morning and took care to consult us on every issue that came up. He also took the time to make certain we could deal with various daily tasks and even a major crisis (our water heater tank broke, flooding the basement in week two -- meaning they had to deal with heavy traffic in and around their working area at times). Despite the tumult, the progressed nicely throughout.... The restoration itself looks wonderful and enhanced the look (and certainly the value) of the property. We were constantly consulted on decisions related to material and design, and the Ion's craftsmanship is evident in the final product. We highly recommend I.C.
