"Given the experience with the roof repair (reviewed herein), I contacted Abalia for help in completing a project I had started: screening in the open front porch to our log cabin. As the entire cabin is constructed of cedar logs, no straight edges, walls, etc. Screening in openings was straight forward (I did most of this), but the porch needed to be segmented (screened-in area, open area) requiring a wall and door to be constructed. Khaled arrived with all the necessary tools (which I did not have), and in short order (4 hours) had constructed the porch divider wall. "The winter of 2014-2015 was not kind to my house - in particular the massive ice dams on the roof were a real problem.
 And unfortunately it was a real problem for a lot of people around here. To get a general contractor to even pick up the phone was difficult and I tried many here off of Angie's List.  But Kevin took my call and scheduled an appointment at my house that week.  We went over all the water and roof damage and he was able to provide pricing right on the spot.  Being a new home owner, he was very honest with what I should worry about and what I shouldn't.  Additionally, and this is what really sticks with me, he had an opportunity to charge me for a new living room ceiling due to ice dam water damage, but instead he recommended that I dab a bleach and water mixture with a sponge first to see if that will take care of the staining and it did. He was saving me money before I even hired him! 
During the following Spring, Summer, and Fall, I hired Kevin and his crew to install additional insulation and vents in the attic to prevent any future ice dam issues, as well as repair the damage that the weight of the ice had caused to the rafters.  In additional to the ice dam related work, I hired him for other odd-jobs around the house that I just didn't have time to do.  He and his crew are very professional, clean, courteous, and, frankly, do a great job you really couldn't ask for anything more!  They're now my go-to general contractor."

Quotes from other contractors were outrageously high, with a bunch of complicated add-ons. DiOrio builders found a solution at a price that made sense, they fixed exactly what needed fixing. They demolished the old structures, scraped the walls and ceiling, removed decades-old debris, sealed the foundation and put a bright white coating on the wall. Plus, once they removed all the debris, the air quality is much better in the upstairs of my house! I’m so happy they made my basement useable, and I will definitely be calling DiOrio Builders and Designers when it’s time to build a lounge down there."
