"We needed a French drain installed in our back yard to divert ground water around our septic drain field. Dillon spent the time to understand exactly what our needs were, and to explain what he would be doing. He was responsive and easy to communicate with. He gave us a detailed quote, at a significantly lower price than the other bid. He arrived on time and worked late, and got the job done earlier than promised. He spent the time to clean up the mess. He cleaned up our driveway (where he had temporarily dumped a pile of gravel) and the side of our house (where he drove his equipment back and forth to move dirt and gravel) far better than I expected. First of all he is upfront with the costs,  for our project he provided a price per square foot which he stuck with throughout the several modifications we made to the scope of the project.  It made calculating any changes we wanted simple.  I can say he is the ONLY contractor  that we have had hired during our home remodel whose final bill was exactly what we were expecting, no surprise extra fees or unexpected overrun costs.
Secondly, he and all his staff were always very polite, professional, organized and knowledgeable. They were very respectful of my home and property and kept the jobsite unbelievably clean, especially considering they were working with dirt and stone.  Erik is very approachable and I felt comfortable asking him all types of questions related to the project.  He never makes you feel like your bothering him or wasting his time, and is incredibly prompt at returning emails or phone calls.
Lastly, he stands by his work.  When our project was completed Erik explained that over the next year(s) we may see some shifting in the rock and to let him know of any issues.  When this spring we noticed a section had shifted a bit more than we had expected we emailed Erik.  He replied to our email that night and was out to inspect the area in the next few days and within a week the portion of wall was restacked and looking great again. 
I would (and have) recommended him to anyone who is looking for a retaining wall or patio installation."

"Thanks to Alex and his crew of meticulous, hardworking, artistic tradesmen of Soil and Stone Landscape my wife and I how have a beautiful, spacious, and usable yard. The front porch, back stairs, back and side yards of our house are now covered with newly installed colorful pavers and drain rock which replaced the unsightly grass areas filled with weeds and brown dirt. The old and deteriorating wood fence on the back, side and front of the property was replaced with a strong, sturdy and wind resistant wood fence. All this work was performed expeditiously and with good judgement by Alex and his workers while we were away from our home. "Noa and his crew were on schedule, as they predicted. All were polite, respectful and well qualified in their work. The finished driveway and sidewalk look good, though there is already a hairline crack in one area after a week, hopefully it won't get larger. There was one issue with some damage done to the edge of my garage floor by the demolition process. I sent Noa pictures and asked for his recommendation as to how to best repair the damage. Though he did respond to my emails, he never did make it out to look at the damge or give me any advice. I contacted the original contractor who had installed my expensive floor covering and he came out and fixed the damage. I would use Noa and his crew again but I would spend more time going over the job site and discussing possible problem areas closer."
