"Adrian and Rook installed large limestone tile in our fireplace, and installed tile for our kitchen backsplash. They also relocated a vent for our stove top hood. Adrian and Rook are totally committed to the quality and craftsmanship of their work, and it shows! Every corner, every transition point were done with care, and no detail was left unattended. They also helped us with design decisions, their industry experience, and great sense of space was invaluable. Starting with our first contact with Adrian, he was very responsive to our numerous questions, and also had a lot of questions for us that we haven't thought of. He called it "we have a shared goal, and that is to make your space beautiful". The contract and billing was clear and straight forward. They were very professional, very kind, and pleasant to work with. We wish Adrian and Rook and the rest of the team at Artisan Building Contractors much success in their future projects. Thanks again so much, you guys are the best!"

"My bathtub tiles had been done three times within a 12 month period. If I had known what I know now, I would have hired Don King from the get go. It would have saved me thousands of dollars if it was done right the first time. My bathroom is now a dream come true. It looks like a luxury hotel bathroom! Don was patient with me when I decided to put tiles on the ceiling and behind the toilet (who knew that was possible??). I would not hesitate to hire Don again! He was very easy to work with! Definitely one of the best contractors I've ever had!"

"Phil and his team were awesome! I'm going to get as detailed as to why as I can within the character limit, but I really could go on and on. Skip to the bottom if you're more interested in the TL:DR version. Our original job consisted of tiling the master bath, the kitchen, the dining area, and the downstairs half bath (about 450 sqft total). We also needed some baseboard and carpet work (the carpet is the only thing we didnt do). In the beginning, the job was between Phil and another contractor. I was with them when they went through the house and did their estimates. Phil was much more detailed in making sure he got more accurate numbers than the other guy, which saved about 30sqft between the estimates. Phil's rate was also a whole lot less than the other guy. Originally we were going to go with the more expensive guy because he also had a carpet guy (and we needed carpet repair too), but as the start date approached, it became apparent we should go with Phil. We called Phil on Monday, and his guys were at our house to begin working on the job on Tuesday. Roy was the first of the crew at our house to work on the job. He was doing prep work and hardibacker laying for the tile work upstairs. It was a fairly sizable area so we weren't sure if he was going to be able to get to any of the other areas of the house on day 1. But, he was able to. He was able to cut and lay hardibacker in the Master bath, and he was also able to lay tile in one of the smaller bathrooms on the first day. On day 2, Roy got some help, and they were able to lay tile in the Master, the kitchen and the dining room, as well as grout and put in the gear to replace the toilet in the downstairs bathroom. Phil would come in every day to check on the progress of the job, and on the second day, we started discussing other things we wanted tiled. The upstairs bathroom and the laundry room were on our long term to do list, but were not a priority at this time. However, since I bought the tile, and I bought a lot of buffer (the tile was on clearance and we were thinking about doing a different cut originally that wouldnt work with the tile we got) we had a lot of extra tile for the job. So Phil told us that we could do both the laundry and the bathroom, and he would give us a discount because his crew was already there. We agreed, and the third day they completed grouting for kitchen and dining, and master bath. They replaced the toilets in the downstairs and Master (not included in the estimate, and they didn't charge for it). They also were able to demo and lay tile in the upstairs bath and laundry room on day 3, and really got a lot done. At the end of that day, we discussed with Phil a small tiled entry pad that had come with the house and was a different tile. We also discussed baseboards. Phil said he would give us a really good deal for both that pad and baseboard installation (about 140 linear feet of installation, I bought the mats). We agreed, and they tore up the old tile in about 15 minutes at the end of the day. The next day they were able to complete everything, prep, laying tile and grout and baseboards as well as replace toilets byt the end of the day. The quality of work was outstanding, and they were very helpful in design decisions and making sure the job would look good. My wife even made Roy replace a tile when he was several rows away because there were two of the same tile next to each other, which he did without complaint. We are very happy with the quality of the work, and the price. TL:DR. Phil was able to start work the next day, his crew was very quick, professional and helpful, and they were able to do a lot more than the original job in 4 days. He didn't charge for toilet replacement, and gave us a great deal, allowing us to do all three baths, kit, dining, baseboard for less than the other guy's estimate for only kit..."

"Tim was great - he was willing to take on our project, which was relatively small, installing a new kitchen sink and replacing some of the surrounding tile. Some of the other contractors we contacted wouldn't even consider the job, and Tim treated us with respect and appreciated our business. His work was very clean, he showed up on time and gave us great direction on selecting a sink as well. Clean up was fine as well, and the pricing was, by far the most competitive of the bids we got."

"I am very pleased with the quality of work and craftsmanship that Alex and his crew did in my home. They were all very professional, clean, and finished ahead of schedule. The job was done beautifully and Alex consulted freely on the many questions of detail for the project. We had wood floors and stairs done as well as remodel guest bathroom and tile in in 2 other rooms. I would hire them again in a second."
