We talked through the removal of the downed tree without causing any additional damage and trimming the remaining 3 pines in an effort to prevent them from coming down. "Failed to return phone message first time (as did several others), arrived as scheduled for estimate, good disposition, not pushy, did not suggest unnecessary work. Said he would call me on Tuesday to confirm Wednesday work. Did not call. I finally had to call him on Wednesday afternoon to determine what was happening. Work completed on Thursday. During esimate visit, we had discussed removing dead branches of one tree and somehow that did not get into the contract specific. I failed to notice that omission and it did not get done. That omission made the cost non-competitive compared to other bids. Other trimming was as presented, neat, good cleanup. Stump cut up was left in ditch instead of felling in accessible, manageable location for our use (poor planning). I paid after completion, with the agreed upon understanding that he would return and work out a managebale solution for the dead limb removal. No followup action occurred, even after I called again and left a message. Poor followup and closure."
