"Terrible communication. From the beginning to the end communication was horrible. Seemed like a very unprofessional group as far as knowing what they needed to do and being prepared for the job and this continued throughout the 3 days they were at my house. All in all the job got done and the electrician side other than not being prepared or having materials and having constant issues with the parts that they did have and ended up turning out well. The crew was friendly however I did feel unprofessional and not necessarily high quality."

"The contractor communicated very well with me. He responded quickly to questions and answered them in a professional manner. He promised to start on a certain day, but torrential rain pushed that day back. He did communicate with me as this happened. He finally arrived to start the job as agreed upon and had a crew of himself and other guy and a younger guy. They worked hard and respected my property. He initially quoted 3 days to finish the job, but it took a half a day more which I had no issues with. The fence looks great and is exactly what I wanted. The two 4 foot swing gates seemed to be a challenge, however. They installed them and they were uneven and sagging. He stated that it was due to the weight and length of the gates and the fact that post had to moved in due to cement under the ground that he could not place the post where he initially wanted. I accepted that. The gates had a lot of play and then one of the gates fell from the post a day later. He said it was due to having to rip-cut the gate to make it smaller and the clips were not there. He came back out the very next day and screwed the fence to the post and also did the other side to ensure stability and no further separation. Well, 2 days later during heavy winds another section of the gate came free. He never screwed that part when he came and did the other. The contractor apologized and came out the very next morning and repaired that and the gate seems to be solid now. I purchased a post that goes into the ground after, to add stability and he voluntarily agreed to mount that for me at no additional charge. Overall, the work was done well. He just seemed to have a lot of difficulty with those large swing gates, but did everything he could and always came out the very next day to make it right. They cleaned up everything and respected my property. I would use them again and feel they gained some experience with those types of gates after a few issues. LOL. Thanks again John."

"I usually do not take the time to review any businesses I come in contact with however I am making an exception in this case because of the excellent service I was provided. Jeff (the owner of Savage Construction) was available within 24 hours of me calling him and arrived promptly at the time we had scheduled. He assessed the job and provided an extremely competitive estimate that I did not hesitate saying yes to. When he arrived with is construction team they were again punctual and worked quickly, safely, and with great skill. It took them only w days to replace my roof and they cleaned out my gutters and cut back an offending tree branch without prompting. Upon completion of the job they carefully cleaned up after themselves and removed all debris and tools from my property. I only gave them 5 stars because that is as high as the scale goes but if I could have I would have given them a perfect 10! Don't hesitate to call Jeff for a roof or any other construction project as they are skilled workers who charge a reasonable price. I wish they were available to work in NYC on my primary residence."

FAQs for vinyl or pvc fence installation projects in Albrightsville, PA

The difference between PVC and vinyl fencing is nonexistent because PVC is simply a type of vinyl used in fence construction. Both terms describe a durable, low-maintenance material that resists rust and rot. This product is engineered for long-lasting performance, offering a reliable solution that meets both functional and aesthetic requirements.

You’ll get long-lasting, low-maintenance panels that won’t rust or rot, and you’ll find a wide range of colors and designs that are easy to install. Repairs cost $30 per linear foot, so keep that in mind if damage occurs, and be aware that extreme weather can reduce performance. Overall, vinyl offers a solid balance of durability and style, though you’ll pay a bit more if you need repairs. For many homeowners, the curb appeal and low upkeep still make vinyl fencing a worthwhile investment.

Vinyl fencing is more expensive than wood fencing. The higher cost is justified by its extended lifespan and lower maintenance requirements when compared to wood. Vinyl fence material persists longer and reduces the need for frequent repairs, which contributes to its value as a long-term investment. Installation may require additional time, but its dependable performance and refined look offer superior benefits.

The lifespan of a vinyl fence extends from 10 to 30 years. This duration is directly determined by the quality of the vinyl material, the precision of installation, and the prevailing weather conditions. A well-installed vinyl fence delivers robust performance, enduring durability, and an uncompromising appearance throughout its entire service life. The construction process reinforces its resilience against environmental challenges.

The ideal vinyl fence style depends on your specific needs for privacy, aesthetics, and functionality. A classic picket fence delivers an enduring, traditional look for front yards, while a privacy fence offers secure seclusion for backyards. A three-rail fence provides a balanced design that suits both decorative standards and performance expectations. Consider factors such as desired style, local climate, and long-term maintenance when selecting your perfect vinyl fence design.
