I had never even heard of roof rats before this (and would happily have never learned about them), but David came, assessed and treated the issue promptly, thoroughly, and professionally, and developed great rapport with our 2.5 year old. I mention this last detail because that has stuck with us. Our son loves "Mr. David." Over a month after he helped us, a neighbor was asking for a good recommendation for pest control; I was trying to remember the name of David's company and called out to my husband, "What was the company's name who took care of the roof rats?" My toddler called out, "It's David, Mama!" He points out other pest control trucks on the road, asking if that's who's driving. Still in January, when he developed a lot of irrational fears about monsters in our house (which apparently is a common toddler stage), we literally used Mr. David to alleviate his fears: "There aren't any monsters anywhere! Even the roof rats, you know who took care of them?" "Mr. David!" he would say confidently. Even writing this review, he came up to ask what I was doing. "Writing a review for Mr. David," I told him. "Mr. David? I love him! He took care of our roof rats!" As homeowners, we are so thankful that we went with David's service and that he came all the way up from Carrollton (we live in Powder Springs); we have had zero issues since he came out, and he was so responsive to any questions and concerns we had about the treatment. We just felt taken care of, that we could trust his word and work absolutely. As parents, we are STILL grateful for the provision of a lasting sense of safety and security that David is unwittingly providing for our son. :) We could not recommend his services highly enough."

The owner arrived promptly for a price estimate. He performed an inspection inside and outside of the house including on the roof (which is where I told him I heard the animals). He asked pertinent questions to determine what type of animals were in my attic and concluded that they were probably roof rats. He provided a detailed written price estimate.
After contacting a couple of other companies for estimates, I called Titan back to begin setting animal traps. He asked for payment before starting the work, which I do not like to do.
He returned several times (always on time) to remove dead animals and reset the traps. He was always very professional. Each time we discussed in detail the noises I heard, odors, and the habits of animals given the warmer than average temperature, the time of the year, and the vacant house next door. The traps were moved several times and reset. He also applied metal mesh to vents on the roof to keep future animals from entering the attic from the roof. The animal removal appears to have been successful.

Titan also offered several other services including a monthly animal control service and spraying the attic to control the animal odors. At this time I don't feel I need the monthly service, but if the rats come back, I would definitely call him.
