"We had grass removed, paver walkways installed and rocks were expanded (about $15,000 in total). Overall, the work performed was done very well. The paver prep and installation was excellent. They had to cut pavers around two curved concrete areas. The paver cuts for this were outstanding. The rock they initially installed, did not match our existing rock. They indicted the existing rock would be matched the best they could, but it really looked bad and had small gravel pieces within it all over. Our existing rock was from 3/4 inch to 1 1/2 inch in diameter. After contacting the owner about this issue, she made a special trip to look it over and agreed it did not match. The owner fixed the issue by removing the rock that was installed and bringing in rock that was all 1 1/2 inch thick and a better color match. We really appreciated that the owner was willing to fix this for us at no additional charge. We have worked with some businesses that are not willing to correct their mistakes. "Domian responded when three other concrete contractors wouldn't even answer the phone to give us a bid. They said that they usually work on larger jobs than ours but they would give us a price if we would agree to be flexible on the work date.  Since our job was a smaller one, their plan was to complete the work when they could couple it with another job nearby.  We agreed.

It took a few weeks to get scheduled but they came and did nice work over 2 days and were very courteous to my wife who was home during part of their work. It started to rain after the concrete was poured and one of the workers said he lived nearby and if weather posed a threat he would return to cover their work. The rain was light, no cover was needed and the sidewalk looks good. The buried downspout now empties rainwater harmlessly to another part of our yard instead of the walk up to our front door which will be a major improvement when winter comes.

I should also add that our sidewalk was not a routine install. It was located over a section of side yard that had a layer of solid rock that prevented the usual dirt removal and form set. The brought a bobcat to clear the path so that the sidewalk would follow a smooth, level path parallel to the street.

There were no surprises. They did what they promised and their workmanship was excellent."

"Soto Masonry LLC completed my projects in a very timely manor and everything looks great! Arturo was able to work with my schedule to get the project started. They tuck pointed areas of my brick house including the chimney. They demoed a concrete patio with cracks and repoured the patio and side walks at a discreet angle in order to move water away from the house. Everything looks very clean and well done. Arturo was happy to answer all my questions and made great recommendations."
