"Project started out well with great communication to set up initial appointment for quote. The overall job turned out well; but once they won the business, the project was mismanaged and communication was poor. There was an overall lack of supervision on the project. It was scheduled for late November. At the time of scheduling, I asked if job would be negatively affected by snow and cold weather and if I should wait to schedule until Spring the following year. I was assured that winter weather would not cause a problem. Luckily, the concrete was poured prior to several snow storms, but the concrete was not sealed until Spring the following year. The project entailed replacing all sidewalks, a driveway and building a raised patio. The patio measurements were incorrect twice. The second incorrect measurement led to my underground sprinkler line being cut. My sprinkler line was also cut in a second location in spite my pointing out where the underground sprinkler lines crossed under the concrete. Hoses were dragged through my garden with no regard for above ground misters. Several were snapped off. The repair bill when sprinkler system was turned back on in Spring was high, and Legacy agreed to reimburse me for some of the damages. They never followed through in spite of my calling in to check on reimbursement."

"The crew arrived promptly on the scheduled date. Old concrete was removed as was a layer of underlying clay. A recycled concrete base was spread and compacted. I believe that when properly compacted recycled concrete is superior to other bases. Welded wire was installed and raised as concrete was poured. I prefer this to re-bar; particularly given Colorado environment and soil. The concrete used was as good or better than any I've seen. The installation crew did a superior job. The driveway and pad are showpieces. Finally, the crew did a noteworthy job in cleaning up the site. Having poured a good deal of concrete some fifty years ago, I believe I am qualified to identify first-rate material and workmanship. I called on 7 Contractors listed favorably in the BBB in order to get quotes for the work.  Domian came in with the lowest price, and the fullest scope of work.  In meeting each of the Contractors I requested bids, Kevin Domian came across as a true professional and was able to answer many of my technical questions.

Removal of the old driveway took one day, and was performed within the limits of the old driveway - not damaging any of my surrounding lawn.  Formwork and placement of the concrete occurred on another day with a broom finish on the concrete.  Control joints in the concrete were made very straight, and cleanly.  Domian stripped forms that evening, and backfilled and fine-graded the areas where the forms were constructed, to where everything looked nice.  The following day, Domian returned to prep and apply the cure and seal product.  

Domian was responsive in providing me with Certificates of Insurance the day they mobilized to the site.  They also were helpful in getting me release of liens from their material supplier."

Daniel has been doing concrete work for twenty years and was good with the repairs and keeping his crew on assignment. The color choices were limited, however, the price was within budget and with a few changes to their contract the details were covered. Of last note, I would recommend that the side walls next to the project be masked off to protect from over spray."
