"The work was outstanding. The people are thoroughly knowledgeable about masonry work, give great explanations about the problems and their solutions, and do high quality work. I had a 90 year old fireplace restored, new damper installed, inside and outside brick and mortar repair, and a new hearth laid. The fireplace is handsome, inside and out. Maycroft also repaired a smaller chimney which was in bad shape--realigned the old brick and set a handsome new stone cap on top. Very highly recommended. Also very, very reasonable. Good people."

"I had a very unpleasant repair job at my home; repairing some drywall in a basement closet which had gotten wet due to leak in an upstairs bathroom. The walls and the ceiling of the closet were covered with mold. Kevin agreed to do the work and presented me with a bid. My initial reaction to the bid was that it was a bit high but I agreed to it nonetheless. Well, when I saw the quality of his work, it change my mind about price he put on the job. He is such a good crafsman and his approach to his work is so thorough and meticulous. He tented in the area in which he was working to control the dusk that was created by the job. Because of the mold, he had to work in this hot and humid space wearing a mask the entire day. Despite this, any time I would come downstairs to check on his progress, he would greet me with a smile and his positive attitude. Kevin is an excellent communicator. He using technology very well from the bid process, through making and confirming appointment, and invoicing. Needless to say, I would recommend him with confidence."

After installation of glass tile my wife noticed that some of the backing of the cut tiles were chipped. I emailed Steve and informed him of the problem. "Excellent quality work and materials for what I paid. They finished on time, reinstalled toilets that they removed to properly install tile. Cleaned up after themselves, like they had never been there. Replaced the washer and dryer without scratching the newly installed tiles. Overall, did a excellent job. "I had marble counter tops installed in my kitchen a few years ago and right away they began to show dull spots where acidic material came into contact with them (pickle, lemon juice, salad dressing etc).
