Comment: I have just noticed a small chip/crack in granite countertop in the cut-out of kitchen (undermounted) sink. This likely occurred as a result of impact with a steel pot or pan, I am not certain of the exact date it happened. I am certain this is not the result of applied weight/pressure and the damage does not extend through the full thickness of the stone. It needs to be repaired to prevent water infiltration and discoloration in the stone. I also need to have the annual maintenance sealer applied to all kitchen countertop and backsplash areas (approximately 20 Sq. Ft. in total) Would also be interested in polishing/buffing cut edge on countertops.
