Andre Ciminksi

Andre helped us complete a number of tasks around the home - fixing broken hinges on our kitchen cabinets, recaulking our bathroom, screwing in a loose and hard to reach vent and fixing some cracked drywall around the home. We were very pleased with his work. He was efficient and it was also very reasonably priced compared to other quotes we had received. We’ll definitely be working with Andre again for our next jobs around the home.

Andre has been a pleasure to work with. However, there has been a huge miscommunication about the total project cost and timeline for completion. Because Andre is highly reviewed he is very busy and my scoped two day project has taken 6+ weeks to complete while he juggles my project with this other clients and other timing issues. The situation has become complicated and, while I have no issue with Andre himself, I feel that the best course of action is to pursue fair and impartial mediation through home advisor to resolve the situation in a way that works for both sides.

Andre installed a new kitchen sink for us, and cut granite countertop. He is great!

Andre is a gem of a find as it goes with contractors these days. He does what he says he is going to do, shows up, and is a great problem solver! I hired him for multiple jobs on our total remodel: extensive drywall repairs including ceiling, range fan hood installation, kitchen faucet and plumbing conversion for single sink to double, bathroom and full length closet slider new door installs, minor relocation of our range outlet and deck powerwashing. All these jobs were done very well and any bumps in the road were tackled with the kind of creativity you can only get from a deep base of knowledge and experience. One of his most admirable traits is his persistence; he just doesn't let a project get the best of him. He was always willing to share knowledge, which was invaluable for me as a first time "general contractor". We will most definitely be asking him over to our new house if we have the need!

Andre was very responsive. He basically got out to me the day after I called and took care of my cabinet issue. One of my cabinet doors was basically ripped off and the hinge took quite a bit of the MDF with it. He patched it up just fine and at a reasonable price. He's very professional and he actually does quite a bit more than cabinets so I'll keep that in mind if we need more things done around the house.
