"Specific problem: Sewer gas fumes engulfed our home overnight. The lower and main level floors smelled like raw sewage. The septic tank had been cleaned three weeks prior and the grinder was working as well. The sump pump was working too. The bad odor was coming in through the sump pump closet. We used bleach and vinegar flushes to clean the interior water and the sump pump. This worked for a couple hours then the fumes seem to increase for no known cause. Mr. Richard answered our distress call for help and an appointment on a Sunday morning. Other companies put us off without a defined appointment time. I was so grateful for Mr. Richard. His knowledge of plumbing, septic and sump pumps saved our home, our health and our wallet. The actual problem proved to be a construction flaw with the pipe that ran from the French Drain to the Septic tank itself. We will use him for all future challenges that should arise while living in our current home. Excellent service."
